Apparently if your on state aid your less of a person me and my 2 young daughters went in for our yearly exam and me and my youngest wear glasses we were in there for over 4 hours their way of conducting buissness is beyond ridiculous they take care of multiple patience at once so your bounced in and out of the exam room my daughter had her glasses within a week and was supposed to see the doctor again when we picked her glasses up but I guess the rest of the staff dont understand when I tell them multiple times when they are talking about doing there chores instead of taking care of the room full of people waiting ...well here I sit my 6-8 weeks later with no glasses cause mine broke last night I call and get told they are not in and am rudly informed that it takes 6-8 weeks to come in so I informed her that Ive waited that long so she tells me she has to "fax" state aid and she dont know how long it will take for them to get back to her so I give her a number to reach me at and she asks whose phone it is my "boyfriends" OK now you and your company have tried to piss me off any way you can hes my husband we have been married for 5 years and Ive been with him for 14 dont be judging me because Im on state aid this place is a joke and very disrespectful they arent even up to date on glasses dont waste your time pay the extra money to go to Rockford

I always have to wait a long time!! They try to make me pay for extra stuff. For example, they tried charging me a lot of money for special eye drops to clear up something that the Dr. said should clear up on its own in a few days anyway. They also try to sell me more expensive lenses and make me have multiple visits to keep getting lab fees out of me... The worst part is that its costing me valuable time! Instead of getting everything done once, I go multiple times and wait 85% of the time, so appointments, which never start on time, last at least 1.5 hrs, usually more. The only reason I go here is because its the closest place that accepts my insurance.

They treat you like less of a person if you use State aid for insurance and the lady with blonde hair and glasses is a bitch to everyone. Shes so rude and once dr. Hodge came out she started acting nice. Completely unprofessional the ladies that work their are horrible people. Dont know how they live with themselves.

Kind of a long wait, but its worth it! Everyone is always very friendly! Some of the other reviews dont make a lot of sense, their office has no control over how long it takes for "state aid" to finish your glasses. I dont feel that I was treated differently in any way!:)

Waited an hour and a half after my scheduled time to even get to the exam room. When i mentioned i was in a hurry the doctor tols me to find somebody else and walked out of the room. Comepletely unprofessional and rude. Im livid!
