The experience I had at this vet was horrible to say the least. I am only writing this to inform others before they have a similar experience. My cat had surgery at this vet. She was an active, normal weight cat prior to staying at this vets clinic. She had major surgery she had to stay there for 4 days to be watched. When I picked her I was shocked at what I saw. She was non-responsive and cold to the touch but she was breathing. I brought her home and she started shacking and felt even colder so I placed her in blankets and held her rubbing her back to try to warm her up. I placed space heaters in the room and eventually she stopped shacking and eventually became warm. She tried to stand up to go to the litter box and fell over as her legs gave out. Now remember this cat is the same cat who jumped on counter tops and the fridge the day before she saw this vet, and after she cant even stand up!!! I should add that he told me he had to sedate her to take out her IV so ok she will be sleepy but from 10am when i picked her up until 8PM she did not move. By 10pm she tried to stand and fell back down a couple of times and eventually she managed to walk. She also looked like she was on a starvation diet. I asked for and received a copy of her medical record where she writes she had no food the entire time she was there. He said she had no appetite for a couple of days and did not eat the other time. I took her to the schaumburg ER vet at midnight and they said she was very heavily sedated and they were shocked to see how much weight she lost since her last visit. She is getting better every day since she has been home. I think if she would have stayed under his care another day she would have died.

Yesterday was my worst experience with this animal clinic . I brought 2 cats and one dog for dental cleaning ($280.00) .Later on I was informed that my cats need 5 teeth extraction and each tooth will cost me $85.00 I almost fainted! Plus $150.00 for antibiotics . I begged vet for discount but he said "NO". I had no choice - I couldnt afford it. Later they called me and asked how much can I afford? I said I can pay $50.00 dollars per tooth and still he said "NO". I agreed for $60.00 per tooth because I thought Im saving $125.00.How wrong I was!!! Just for my curiosity I called few other clinics and guess what? He is the most expensive in the area!!! Clinic X charges $45.00 for molar extraction and $10.00 for premolars. Wow, what a difference! I told vet about other clinics but his answer was : "Everybody is different". So I decided to take all my pets files and never get back .This morning his assistant called me apologizing for "misunderstanding" and blaming new software for that $85.00per tooth!(B.S) And they want to charge me only $45.00.When he saw me today at the clinic he didnt apologize ,didnt even look at me! In my opinion he is pretty good vet but watch out for his charges!! Compare prices before you make an appointment. I already found new animal clinic .

Since moving to the area last year i have been taking both of my dogs here. The prices ARE very affordable compared to other places i have talked with as well as a very friendly staff. Being a "low cost" facility they actually break down procedures into smaller things (i.e. paying separately for additional pain meds or antibiotics after surgery) but they give you all of the costs upfront and you can choose...they will also tell you what they suggest you pick as well, though you are free to decline. My dogs have been there for shots, as well as one Neuter and one ear infection and everything was much cheaper, completely explained yet still excellent service. I am not sure what the other reviewers experience was but I would bet they did not read all of the information or there were extenuating circumstances involved with it., on top of that you normally pay before the procedure so you are paying for exactly what was chosen and if something else comes up then you will have options to pay an additional amount or decline a service.

I recommend people to take your business elsewhere. I took my dog in today since she has been vomiting a lot, I paid for the physical exam, and stool exam. It came up to 98 dollars but they didnt even check her temperature, everything looked rushed not professional. The Vets staff was not very pet friendly, when we got there they didnt even acknowledge my dog even though she was wagging her tail at them in a friendly way. Usually places for animals, the staff are always animal friendly and acknowledge the animals right away and in many cases go over and pet them. Here they didnt, the staff looked like they hated working there. I had to take my dog to another vet and pay again! But I was happy because the new place I went to the vet there really took her time and gave my dog the care she needed. This place is just out there to make easy money. Never again!

Terrible place! Took in my sick kitten was told that he was fine two days later he dies...I watched as the vet vaguely checked him and said he was OK... I told him that I couldnt afford medicine but I could afford the visit..if there was anything I could do at home for the time being and he simply said the cat looks fine. The CAT WAS NOT FINE. Do not trust this place they are only after your money i bet If I never mentioned not having money for medicine then maybe he would have given me better advice SCREW THIS PLACE AND R.I.P KIBBLES .

This place is a rip off, for an ear infection it cost me over $300. Then for the check up they made me sign a paper that the check up was going to be $32, well that was a false. The check up was double the cost, i asked why. Her respond was didnt the doctor tell you. Well to my disappointment the doctor did not care and said I had to pay the amount. I recommend NOT to the supposedly "affordable vet", as the email states.

I have been taking my animals 3 dogs and 1 cat to this vet since we moved to the area and we all love this place have never had an issue. 2 dogs spayed/neutered there with no issues. We have also had a urinary infection that was treated by him and no issues they always call to follow up to see how they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone and have.
