When I first walked in, as most of the previous comments stated, everything was beautiful inside and out. However, I came to find out that just because the place itself was very inviting did not mean the people were! The girls at the front desk are rude in that they hardly aknowledge you or your pet and when they do they arent exactly pleasant. The doctor we had was great at first until I found she was not exactly upfront with me at all about the costs of her services. She took it upon herself to do EXTRA procedures during my animals check up without warning me that theyd cost. I thought this was very unprofessional and quite rude when I found out I was completely over charged. She gave me a money figure of what my animals medication would cost and it was definitely over that. Why cant they just be upfront? So later I call back to ask if theres any way these charges could be refunded and just as before, the girl on the telephone was not pleasant and acted like I was stupid. Is the customer not always right???

This is sad, because I liked the doctor and the staff, but they seemed to do too many unnecessary procedures and then charged me for everything! I took my new dog in to see them. The Doc was great and I thought they were going above and beyond and just very thorough. When I got my bill, I realized that they charged me for everything even though they did not ask before doing each procedure. They are a little more expensive than any other vet in town, but they are so nice and convenient that I did not mind... until I got my bill. Please do not let this review prevent you from seeing this vet, but if you do go to this vet, insist that they go over cost and procedure before your animal is seen and do not allow them to do anything unless they ask you first and tell you how much it will cost.

I think they are the best in the Clarksville area .I have had to bring in several of my animals for emergencies and find they are not overly expensive but as with any vet you need to make sure you know the costs ahead of time and choose to authorize the procedure or not.I have had an occasion or two when finances were tight and they were very kind and gave me discounts to help out in a diffacult time. They are a very caring and loving vet, I have tried several in the area , we have 7 dogs and 13 cats all ages and breeds and they have all received excellent care at southside.

We have been taking our dogs to this clinic for 11 years and love this facility. The staff has been very friendly to us from the office staff to technicians and the vets themselves. We have not seen the female vet as yet. Yes, this clinic can be a bit more expensive than some. But, our dogs are rescued collies with illnesses resulting from inbreeding. These vets have recognized the problems and done everything in their power to make our dogs as comfortable as possible.That, to us, is most important.

The vets are very nice and helpful and always answer my questions in an easy to understand way. However, the front desk staff can come off as rude and unfriendly. And I have left messages at their number when it goes to voice-mail with my name, my pets name, the account name, my phone number, my concern or question and a request to call me back. They have never called me back in those situations. It is frustrating. They must have a ridiculous number of voice-mails that they never check.

I took my dog to Animal House (one of the Sister companies of SouthSide Vet) and they were completely rude at the front desk. Some girl named Mallory was just so unprofessional and needs to take a class or two on business etiquette. Also, they tried to over charge me as well! I am seeing a pattern from all of the previous comments......
