First I must preface this with I cant really say anything good or bad about Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital however I can say something bad about one of the veterinarians that they hired. I just received the mailer from Warrenville Grove Veterinary Clinic about a veterinarian who I used to take my dog to at a different Clinic Steve Borowiak. This man almost killed my dog and then I reported him and stopped going to that clinic it seems that other things must have happened and he moved to a new Clinic. I reported him to the Department of regulations and stopped going to his other Clinic but that doesnt seem to have stopped him from practicing medicine. I racked up about $3,000 from the emergency clinic because this man gave my dog medications that she was allergic to and had been noted with his clinic for many years that she was allergic to this medication. When I called his old clinic and asked what had happened they stated he was no longer a part of the clinic and had moved on to another clinic they had no other information. My assumption is that he must have done this to other animals and owners and they finally got rid of him. My concern is that hes still out there practicing medicine and "caring" for animals despite the fact that I have reported him and whatever is going on that they reported him at his old place and the department of regulations didnt do anything. I have known a couple other people in the community who have also had bad experiences with this vet. I caution everyone to not go to this Warrenville Grove Veterinary Clinic to see this dr., As to the other vets it looks like they have good reviews at least, as I believe as a pet owner and concerned citizen that your pets arent safe in his care.

We have been clients of Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital since it opened in 2007. Presently we have four dogs and over this time we have had to use every service they offer and have not been disappointed. Only once we had to obtain services elsewhere and that was an emergency euthanasia on a Sunday when Warrenville Grove was closed. The support staff themselves cannot be better. A sense of priority and immediacy and helpfulness is just part of their expertise. They are understanding and gentle with all their clients--and the owners as well. Dr. Nancy and Dr. Miner are the doctors who staff the office and are both superior in their specialties. Dr. Miner is an excellent diagnostician and excellent surgeon. We brought a dog in in shock with a totally dislocated hip, open wounds and muscle damage from being hit by a large SUV. The surgery Dr. Miner performed was perfect and innovative; he restored our Jack Russell to full use of all her faculties. Dr. Nancy not only eased that dogs stress and discomfort, she restored us to sanity as well. She has the ability to treat the most anxious of our dogs with thoroughness and ease that takes stress away. So three of our four have needed specialty care that we are totally satisfied with. As I write this we are going to have to be calling soon to avail ourselves of Dr. Aarons services to come to our home and finally ease the discomfort and illness of our two older dogs. We have no doubt this, too will be handled with sensitivity and professionalism.

If there were more stars I would give them more! I have used Warrenville Grove for my cat and two dogs for 5+ years. I was a frequent vistor due to my one dog having some serious health issues. Warrenville Grove was thorough, compassionate, and spent much time talking and working with us. When needed they worked with specialists and even the holistic doctor I tried!. Dr. Miner has been the one I ususally see, but I have worked with each of them: All three doctors are excellent. You can tell that they, and their staff, are well trained and true animal lovers. . Beyond these compliments, what I think is extraordinarily special is something I have not seen any other vet do: If a client has the unfortunate situation of their pet passing away and they have medicine they have not used and offer to donate, Warrenville Grove will look up clients who take that medicine and provide it for no charge. This is incredibly thoughtful and unique in my experience. I received medicine twice through this process, and when I had the heartbreak of losing my dog, I continued the cycle by donating our unused medicine. I know it was put in good hands to help another dog. Great job Warrenville Grove !

My dog was not eating his food and was not acting like himself, I took my dog here and the vet said that he was only eating less because it was winter and he wasnt exercising as much....A week later he was getting worse so I took him to another vet and turns out that my dog has had an infection running through his body. When I called to tell them that they had misdiagnosed my dog, the office manager preceded to tell me that it was MY FAULT. Obviously, owners take their pets and put them into the hands or their vets who are trained professionals in order to get diagnosed and to be taken care of. I trusted too easily and never should have listened. Also, they are very detached and NOT thorough. My dog also had ear infections and the vet never took his temperature nor looked at his ears. This vet was very quick to jump to conclusions and I am very happy that I got a second opinion and listened to my intuition telling me that something wasnt right with my dog. The prices are not reasonable, they are average. I would much rather pay the same amount and go somewhere else where they will treat my pup with the care that he deserves and get a vet that will take me seriously...NEVER AGAIN WARRENVILLE!

This is a great and compassionate animal hospital staffed with well qualified vets and technicians. I have been using their services since they opened and have never been disappointed. Dr. Nancy is awesome and my dog really enjoyed using her alternative methods for pain relief (she didnt handle pain medications or any medications very well). Dr. Miner has performed surgery on each of my three dogs and they all recovered well and enjoyed many more years enjoying life! Recently he repaired a shattered scapula on my brothers dog which required a high degree of skill. She is recovering well at my home and I just know she will be back running and chasing squirrels in the spring. The team is always willing to stay late or fit you in the schedule in an emergency. One time a technician even came to my home to help transport a sick animal to the clinic while I was out in a remote location in Alaska. Dr. Miner even kept me up-to-date on her status despite the difficulty with phone reception. I highly recommend Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital!

I have had the pleasure of having the Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital {Visiting Vets} care for my pets for over 15 years, I have moved numerous times and found other vets closer to my house yet never trusted anyone else to care for my animals. I have traveled over 45 minutes to bring my animals to Warrenville Grove - all the vets are extremely kind, trusting and knowledgeable. I have been through the loss of a dog and a cat due to old age and cancer and the compassion shown was most appreciated. I have a Lab who has had issues with eating and being sick due to a sensitive stomach (or eating something he shouldnt have) and the Dr. wanted to run further tests to rule out anything potentially more serious. I was thankful it was just as we thought "upset stomach" but the exam was very thorough. I trust all the vets at Warrenville Grove - I always recommend them to my friends who are new pet owners and look forward to many more years of visiting with my family. K. Lowery
