Typically Im pretty positive in my reviews, however overall Im afraid Ive had a pretty poor experience with Woodstock Eye. Staff doesnt follow up. The glasses took over a month to arrive. I never knew they were "delayed in manufacturing" or that they "had arrived and were ready". I started stopping by every 3-4 days to get the status and remind them to call me. When they arrived the prescription was off / blurry and gave me headaches. Despite that they told me to try them for a week, it hurt a lot. Looking online headaches are a clear sign a prescription is off and only lazy eye care professionals will tell you to continue wearing them instead of immediately updating them. Be careful with your billing. They wanted to bill me for services I did not request to my health insurance, a scan of my eye I believe. I had only come in for a prescription and glasses. An extra $100+ that arrived in a bill to my surprise. I also got scratch resistant lenses, after a couple months they developed scratches. I had them replace them under the guarantee. The replacements havent formed scratches after 1.5 years, Im suspicious the first pair lenses werent scratch resistant despite paying for it. In the end it took a bit over 1.5 months to get a pair of glasses.

I purchase a very expensive pair of progressive High Def glasses with scratch proof coating from woodstock eye care. After approximately 9 months I started noticing scratches. After about 1 year it was so bad I couldnt use the glasses without problems. I had moved out of state so I visited a new optician who told me that the scratch proof coating had failed. The optician told me that the manufacturer warranties the coating for 2 years and to contact the optician I purchased them from for replacement. Woodstock Eye Care would not help me. Their warranty is for 12 months. Think twice before you spend your money here.

A bit on the pricey side but the staff was excellent. Great service from start to finish. Dr. Petri was great and took time to answer all my questions and concerns. Well worth the price paid compared to the service you get at larger Optometry chains.

I got a pair of glasses a few months ago. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Im typically rough on glasses and the pair of Oakleys I got are holding very well
