I made the mistake of scheduling a contact eye exam here. On their website it says that they take Medicaid, I called them to make sure before booking an appointment. Of course the woman on the phone told me they dont take medicaid. I should have taken that first bate and switch tactic as a warning to go elsewhere but I didnt. She told me that it will only cost $50 and asked me when I wanted to come in. $50 didnt sound too expensive so I decided to book an appointment anyway, not using my insurance. I received a phone call and a text reminding me of my appointment. Everything was great when I got there and the doctor was great. The issue started when I met the short haired lady, who takes the payment. She told me my balance for today was $165. I asked her why it went from $50 to $165. She explained it to me in the most confusing way possible then started getting snotty with me when I still didnt understand. I told her that they probably shouldnt tell people it will only cost $50, she said "Well, Ill make the suggestion" in a smart tone. Eventually, I gathered that the $50 doesnt really cover anything but the "healthy eyes program" which gives you 20% off and that didnt include literally anything to do with "the contact fitting". I work in the car industry and have never seen a bate and switch tactic quite like this. If I would have known that I was going to pay $165 not even including a box of contacts, I would have went else where. Apparently if you want to know how much it is going to cost, you have to get it in writing and make sure they arent parting out the visit or leaving any charges out. If you are going to bate and switch people, you should probably not get an attitude with the customer when they arent understanding why their bill is $115 dollars more than they were told on the phone. Anyways, I paid my bill and walked out. I thought I left my glasses inside, so I walked back inside only to hear the staff talking about me. I will never go back here and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

This eye care location seems to change hands every year or two and each time the frame selection seems to be reduced and my satisfaction as a patient has been going steadily down. Ive been going here for almost 10 years now but I have decided to collect my records and move to a different provider. Im tired of having my records sold to whichever doctor wants to pay to occupy this building. I also dont want to suddenly begin receiving multiple emails and phone calls from a company Ive never heard of (since it changed hands once again) when I dont promptly make an appointment.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff was extremely friendly, they were able to get me in right away, and they even helped me pick out a pair of glasses. The best part of my appointment was how comfortable they made me feel during the exam- I hate the glaucoma test, and they made it more tolerable. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

But this is the best one that I have found the staff there is fantastic very personable and knowledgeableI would recommend it to anyone if you go there ask for Karina she knows her stuff and is very nice in doing so.im talking about the Rosyn Eye care and In Long Grove

Loved the experience here. The doctor and staff were friendly and helpful. Location was extremely convenient, and the facility was clean. Will definitely be going back. Just a heads up...you probably should have someone go with you if you decide to use the numbing drops for the exam.
