Wonderful people. We have been taking our cats and dogs to Blue Sky for over 13 years now, starting with our first two cats on the recommendation of family. In all, theyve treated five cats and four dogs for us, with a new fifth dog to become their next patient. We know several family members and friends that are current clients as well. The late Dr. List, who died much too young and is sadly missed, the current vet, Dr. Gaudreau, owner/office manager/nurse/advice-giver Lynne, and tech/office person Dorinda have all been nothing but caring, competent, and trustworthy. They really are wonderful, and we highly recommend them. In response to the negative reviews "price-gouging" claim, I have two experiences in particular to share. First, one of our cats escaped the house and returned with a bad limp that proved to be a dislocated hip. Because it was after Blue Skys hours, we went to another local vet that was open late that evening. Their only recommendation was a very expensive surgery. The next day we went to Blue Sky, and they successfully popped the joint back into place. The cat never had a problem with it after it healed. Second, weve had to euthanize a cat and a dog due to poor health in their old ages. Blue Sky did the procedures for free. They didnt even charge for the cost of the drugs used. Im guessing that is a courtesy reserved for long-time patients, but nevertheless, it shows their high level of compassion and class.

Blue Sky Vet Clinics practices are the best in Southern Indiana. I have had the misfortune of going to other vets and they have had neither the skill nor the compassion that I have received from Blue Sky. The most important thing I can say is they dont lie. If you take your dog or cat to them and hes got diabetes or if its a cat thats just old and its his time-they will tell you so. They dont sugar coat it. They give it to you straight. They dont sell you a bunch of unnecessary medications. They dont advise therapies that will prolong your pets life and make him suffer at the same time, just to make a buck. They could and many in Indianapolis do, but they DON"T. Honesty and integrity cannot be purchased. So, if you think theyre gouging you on flea and tick meds to the tune of $6.00 and youre willing to go to another vet and incur significant expenses you are cutting your nose off to spite your face. Its worth the extra $6.00 for peace of mind knowing my animals get the best care from a knowledgeable staff who could but DOESNT gouge. I double dog dare you to find that in Indianapolis!

Took my dog here for 2 years--from the time I adopted him to the time we moved out of town--and we were very sad to leave. They were quite patient with my less-than-social dog and always gave quality care at reasonable prices. One of my favorite things about Blue Sky, though, was the feeling that they had my back. When my dog had feeding problems, early symptoms of illness that worried me, etc, I knew I could call and get a more useful response than "well just bring him in." They were great about dealing with my first-time-pet-owner anxieties and helping me to distinguish between normal dog stuff, things to keep an eye on, and things that were really urgent. Im really going to miss them. Would recommend Blue Sky to any pet owners in the Bloomington area.

My long-time very retired many years ago and I havent found anyone who approached animal care in the same way... until now! I absolutely love Blue Sky and would recommend it to everyone. Im very picky about the care of my 2 Havanese, but I also hate when clinics require that I do tons of additional/expensive testing that just runs up the bill. The visit was quick but thorough. They handled my dogs beautifully. Neither of them left the vet scared. In fact, one of them was so thrilled to have had an outing all about him! They dont poke and prod when they dont need to, and for that I am grateful. I highly recommend them!

Excellent staff and docs...reminds me of the vets we had when I was a kid. They checked my dog in immediately on a Monday morning when she was borderline uremic with a bladder stone caught in her urethra. They couldnt perform the emergency surgery - had to go to Indy for that - but without their compassionate and knowledgeable support, my dog might have died. She is doing much better now - thank you Blue Sky! As others mentioned, they dont push unnecessary products on fancy displays like other places Ive been. No gimmicks, no BS...the way it should be.

They dont overcharm or downplay the reality of any issues with your animal: just genuine realistic facts and approaches to treatment. I appreciate their focus on my dog and straight forward explanations for everything that has ever come up with her. Our animals are our family and I love that they dont get all "cutesy" but rather are serious and attentive with the care. Theyre professional veterinarians after all so the doctor attitude is great! Personable and knowledgable staff! We just adopted a new dog from the shelter and this will be his vet too!

Did not like this vet at all. For one they told me there was nothing wrong with my dog and that he just had a back problem and OCD. I took him somewhere else and turns out he had a brain tumor. I had to put him asleep at a different vet just two weeks after seeing Blue Sky. He had almost all the symptoms of a brain tumor. Also this vet isnt personable and very inconsiderate. When I checked in at the front desk after my dog had blood work done, she said your dogs fine have a seat, in a very rude way. Not a good experience at ALL.

I have been going to Blue Sky for at least 20 years. I have experienced other Vets through interactions with friends and their animals and I have to say that Blue Sky has always been the right choice. You might find nicer offices or a more hi-tech operation elsewhere, but I find the fact they are small, very personal, and extremely easy-going to be a huge plus. Honestly, how many vets automatically know you and your dogs name, and names of your previous dog the second you walk in?

I have been using them for about half-a-year now and they are the kind of vet I prefer- no nonsense. No pushing of unnecessary extras are done here and the staff is very friendly. They do have some weird hours but if you can work around that then its no problem,

Quality animal care with compassion and straight-talk. No attempts at extra (and often useless) treatments or over-selling products or procedures. They care deeply about the health and quality of life of our animal companions...they are truly a blessing!
