I used to be a patient of Dr. Welch before she retired, always great experience, never had a problem. Then Kensington Family Medicine took over and since then, I never had a good experience. Getting an appointment is a joke, booked out over 2 months for a physical. Also one dr was on maternity leave (understandable) so at the same time, the other doctor goes on vacation..... really, you couldnt have waited on that vacation until your partner was back! Which left the nurse practitioner to handle appts for a week. Therefore, couldnt get in at all when I was sick. I also called and left 4 messages for a nurse to call me, never received a call back. The front desk staff seemed annoyed when I checked in. Overall, I would recommend going someplace else who values you as a patient.

Why accept new patients if you dont have appointments for 2 months? With my insurance there are only a couple places that I am able to go. Ive needed to see the doctor for a month and have dealt with minor pain but as it has continued to get worse Ive been to the ER and Ive called and tried to get in sooner. I was told by the nurse that I can go back to the ER and get pain medication but maam, I want to figure out what the problem is, not try to cover it up by drugging myself. Even if I was a patient they told me that I would have to wait a month to be seen.

Dr Gaeta and her office staff are very welcoming and super nice! They go out of their way to help you. I would recommend her for primary and obgyn to anyone.
