I had a Total Thyriodecromy with Dr. Elgamal and I am glad i had him. He explained things to me earnestly and was very understanding and knowledgeable. He helped with the inspiration to do the surgery along with Dr. Okeefe at Franciscan. Every one from the surgery prep team to surgery to post surgery was great at Franciscan Munster Hospital. I was comfortable doing my recovery and was not released until everything was good all around. I was comfortable being able to take care of myself before being released, which is very important. Thank you Dr. Elgamal. You and the surgerical team really took good care of me.

Excellent facility. Upon check in to the urgent care unit, the intake receptionist was stiff, and it felt like I was inconveniencing her that I was there. I was called into an exam room as I was finishing paperwork. My nurse (I believe her name was Rose) and the doctor (Dr Bacevich) were FANTASTIC. Straight to the point, polite, and very prompt. Another nurse even helped me out to my car to carry my purse and papers since I left on crutches and was by myself. I will DEFINITELY go back again and recommend to others!
