Friendly staff. I was clearly made aware if there were going to be additional fees. My only gripe, which isnt really that big of a deal, was that I was picking glasses to kill time while waiting for my appointment, one of the optometrists was assisting me. After trying on over a dozen pairs of glasses I found 1 pair that seemed to fit my face and style preference and was told by the optometrist "Those glasses are so yesterday". Although the honesty was appreciated , in the end it discouraged me from purchasing the glasses. I didnt care what was "in-style" I cared if they were right for ME or not. In the future, I will continue with this business for my optical health, but when it comes to purchasing eye ware I may pursue other options.

Recently, I was in to have my eyeglasses adjusted. I mentioned to Roy that I have another pair of plastic frames that I got from them that I never wear because I cant see well out of the progressive (bifocal) lenses. He told me to bring those glasses in so we can look at them and said that most likely, the reading field just needs to be brought up a bit so theyre in the correct position for my eyes/the size of frame. Well, I did that and I now have two pair of glasses I can use! I am so thankful that Roy recognized the issue right away, got it fixed, and now I have two useful pair of glasses. Thank you Roy and Iowa EyeCare.

I was in just yesterday for my yearly exam and was reminded again how much I enjoy my entire experience at Iowa Eye Care. Everyone there is competent, super-friendly and makes you feel that they know you which is no small task. Id particularly recommend Dr. Kimberly Cruise who is truly amazing. She is knowledgeable but never condescending, friendly and clearly cares about giving her patients the best possible exam experience. I would whole-heartedly recommend Iowa Eye Care to anyone looking for an eye-care provider.

Dr. Cruise and the staff at Iowa EyeCare are very friendly, courteous and helpful. I do not feel like a number - I feel like they genuinely care about me and my eye health. They take time to answer any questions and provide explanations of testing results, etc. I never feel as though they are in a hurry to get on to the next patient, yet I have never had to wait a really long time to be seen. I have been going there for several years and will continue to go there. I highly recommend Iowa EyeCare!

I had my first visit to Iowa Eye Care this week, and I was very impressed with Dr. Kimberly Cruise! Id heard that bifocal contacts are difficult to fit, but she told me she has successfully fitted many people with them. She discussed the advantages and disadvantages of gas perm lenses vs soft contacts and explained why she recommends one over the other for me, specifically because of whats going on with my eyes. Shes very knowledgeable!

Another easy and thorough exam by Dr. Cruise. She is excellent! So friendly and professional. She always understands what my questions or concerns are all about and explains things so I understand what is going on as well. Questions come with aging eyes! Her staff members are all friendly and courteous. I never feel like my time is being wasted waiting, and I really appreciate that. Both my husband and I highly recommend her!

In a word: excellent. The entire staff was genuine, warm and knowledgeable. They took my very anxious ten year old son, who did NOT want glasses, and turned him into a very happy kid that cant wait for them to arrive. My exam was great as well.
