Going to have to go middle of the road with the univeristy. I use to think of the UoI as a 5 but not lately. They have some great doctors and residents and not so good doctors and residents. I do not think the overnight ER is as skilled as the Daytime one. Its like they put all the below average docs and residents on overnight crew.Overnight treats patients like a fast food restraunt, in and out... does not seek proper ways of treatment. I was wrongly diagnosed by overnight ER Doc, went to specialist who dismissed their claims for my illness. Meanwhile my insurance paid $2700 for bad diagnosis.Well done overnight ER. Last couple visits have been disappointing hope this doesnt reflect what to expect each visit or I may have to start taking my family to mercy care. Please try harder University of Iowa.

Instead of trying to figure out whats wrong with me ( why Im having chronic pain, n/v, and cant eat without pain and/or n/v) they just dismiss everything and gave me a psych consult telling me its all in my head! I thought Drs were supposed to help figure things out, not just go straight to the "ur just mental" attitude. Very disappointed and frustrated bc this has been going on since July 29, 2014.
