The dentist/hygienists are great and know what they are doing (only reason there are even 2 stars here), but the place is making me not want to return due to all of the hassle Ive gone through. I recently scheduled an appointment, received a text message confirmation of the time/date, and then when I showed up was informed that I had missed my appointment (system said it was a half hour earlier than what I had scheduled — wondering if they conveniently moved it for me without notifying me) and they wouldnt have time for my appointment. They treated me like it was MY fault until I showed them the text message confirmation I had gotten, but things had already started on a sour note. I later found out from my insurance company that I should have paid much less than what I had been charged for my service there. I still have not received a refund check nor explanation of where it might be despite having called two separate times and was told they would find out and call me back. Not sure why they couldnt have refunded my credit card as they were more than happy to take it as payment.

I"ve patient at the west Des Moines location for many years.I called today at 3:30 PM today(10/10/2016) to get an appointment for my routine cleaning and check up.I spent a lot of time on the phone with him trying to set up a time for me.He had an extremely poor communication skill.after we set up time he told me that I have to go to South side office because I am on Medicaid.I told him Ive always been on Medicaid and always come to West Office .I was upset that he knew I am on Medicaid and spent so much time trying to make an appt now he is telling me that I have to go to south side office.I asked him if he is new.and told him that we have communication problem.After I told him that he hung up on me.I called again. knowing that It was me calling he didnt answer.I left a message complaining about how rude he was and asked someone to return my call.I called again after an hour he answered .I asked hid name he didnt give me his name and he hung up again.I told him who I was and why did he hung up on me. Im shocked how rude he was to me.

I had dentures made and they did a good job. They are friendly and try to make your visit a pleasant one. They dont however do any extra work. If you dont need something done, they let you know. I thought I needed my dentures relined, but they checked them and told me they would do it if I wanted, but they really didnt think it would make a big enough of a difference to make it worth the expense. They suggested I wait another year before having that done. I did and I dont regret it. I dont want anymore expense than what is really needed.

Billing department constantly makes mistakes. We have often been billed, we paid, and then months later receive a refund. Most of our services should be covered, however, we receive bills for hundreds of dollars that are suddenly overdue. We have been promised several times by the guy who does the billing to receive a call back about covered services and dont. Horrible experience. Was much better when previous doctor owned the business. Other patients that I know have had similar experiences.

The West Des Moines office has always been great to me and Jen is who keeps me fiercely loyal. She is a hygienist who loves what she does and who she serves. Jen keeps me focused when it comes to making sure I am flossing and understanding the overall status of my complete dental picture. For all of this I am grateful and I would more than recommend anyone to this office and to Jen! Keep up the great work!

Ive been going to Life Point WDM for years. I adore my hygienist Jen - she keeps me healthy and works with me year after year to stay on track. Ive found everyone there to be friendly and competent, the environment seems cooperative and positive, and the physical setting is pleasant. Highly recommend.

I just had a procedure for Dental Implants done yesterday. Like most, I didnt know what to expect until the Team at Lifepoint explained the complete procedure in my previous vistits. Its now the day after and I feel 200% better that I imagined. I would highly recommend Dr. Brad and his team. Great Job.

I absolutely love the whole staff that works at Life Point Dental. They are professional and very easy to talk to. The dentist and dental hygienist do a wonderful job of cleaning and spotting any problem areas. I definitely recommend them as going to the dentist is enjoyable here.

The wait time for the dentist once youre in the chair can be upwards of twenty minutes or more, without explanation, but while you wait you can listen in on the hygienists while they gossip and b*tch about all the patients. The dentist was fine otherwise.

The Staff at your office in West Des Moines were very professional as well as warm and friendly. I had my wisdom teeth pulled today and was worried over nothing procedure was quick and non painful I highly recommend this office for all dental needs

Absolute, worst experience ever. This place is a scam! They refused to honor their online coupon for a free cleaning and we were turned away as self-employed, self-pay clients. Horrible, horrible experience!!
