I joined this TEAM a year ago, starting out as a Private Duty Aide and moving up into the Director of Private Duty position. This entire year has taught me the TRUE meaning of TEAMWORK. After having a father on Hospice services years ago with another local company with me being a sole caregiver not receiving any advice, help, or even shown concern, I am proud to be a part of Home Health and Hospice of Kansas because we are absolutely what this community needs! Not only is our staff friendly, dependable, and diverse....each one of us TRULY cares and assures that each patients needs are met to fit their individual care plans. We are so much more than "just another home health and hospice company" because we, together as a community and team, "MAKE LIVES BETTER....TOGETHER."

Although, I have worked for only 6 months with Home Health and Hospice of Kansas, I can tell you this is an amazing journey to be on. Being the Volunteer Coordinator, I am able to bring joy, music, animal therapy, companionship, a smile and lots of love to our patients during their final destination and their family. This company by far has shown me what true compassion, team work, dedication, integrity, honesty and ethical standards are bestowed upon all of us, our patients and their amazing families. After many years employed in corporate america, I can truly assure; I love my job and I havent been able to say this in a really long time.

Since working with HHHOK it has been such a delight. A company that focuses on the patients and family is amazing. I hadnt even gotten out of my 90 day probation period when my cousin was murdered. As most know when you are in your first 90 days of new employment you cant take days off, but with no quwestions asked I was allowed the time with my family. Not only do they care about their patients but also about their employees that to me days A lot about what this company represent. I wouldnt want to be anywhere else.

HHOK...wow what a team. What a delight when all co-workers are right there to stop and pitch in no matter what. That is only the beginning. From there it takes us to all those who are suffering whether it be physical or mental. Some of us are not young anymore and we have to remember that some of our patients were young at one time. Health changes can be painful and we get right down on their level and feel their pain. We wont stop until we do ALL we can as a team. <3

HHOK is an amazing company with a very close team that provides excellent care to not only each individual patient but involves and incorporates each patients family into their care as well. The staff at HHOK is very unselfish and provides care 24/7 whether its the middle of the day or the middle of the night the patient will be taken care of. They took care of my grandma when she was on hospice. For the time they were with my grandma they were very caring and knowledgeable. They not only took excellent care of my grandma but the whole family! It is hard to please a family member that is a nurse but they did and they far exceeded my expectations!
