As a caregiver for Home Instead, I am DELIGHTED to carry their ID badge. I was an Activities Director at two other companies so I know the comparison and appreciate working for a truly caring group. They give us monthly training updates. I also work elsewhere and fill in at Home Instead when needed so instead of having the same clients, I often get clients Ive never met. But the staff preps me with client info: not only their health needs & tasks they need help with but also whether they have a pet or love puzzles. It helps me be properly prepared with dog treats or jigsaw/crossword puzzles when I arrive! The staff lets us know when families praise our patience and creativity. If Im ever in doubt, as I was one day when a client had dumped all the medications out of her daily pillbox organizer, the RN Mary Swan is always on call for guidance. My mother had Alzheimers for 12 years so I deeply empathize with clients and families. I believe in the power of singing/playing their favorite music, laughing over Readers Digest jokes, building a personal connection with each sweet soul so we can make the most of each day. Loving someone elses mom or dad is my way of paying-it-forward for those who helped my family with our mother. - Ruthanne Brockway of Lewisville.

We have had an exceptional experience with Home Instead (Highland Village, TX). My Mother-in-law felt that her Caregiver treated her more like family, than a job. Her Caregiver was always warm and friendly, and extremely caring and concerned for her well-being. We even received a call after one of her Caregivers regular visits. She thought maybe we should check on my MIL because she didnt seem like she felt well (my MIL wouldnt have called us because she never wanted to be a burden). We are forever thankful for that call that led to additional testing and a short hospital visit. The team at Home Instead clearly places the care of their clients first. It is obvious from the moment you meet them; they are consistently professional as well as respectful of their clients needs and dignity.

It is so very hard to find and then trust a caregiver to take care of your loved one, my mom lives with me full time. In order to get some respite time and time to do errands for my household i sought help. I found Home Instead doing research on the internet, and like every business that is reviewed different people have different views on the subject. My view of this organization is this: They care for my mom like their own family member, the caregiver Ashley W has been a Godsend for me. She is reliable, caring responsible and kind. I have never had such good customer service when I call their office, i can only speak for my experiences but I think this company is the best!

my wife has been a client with H. I ... for over two years now.. she is extremely pleased with the service and more specifically she is pleased with the professional and personal touch given by H.I. in selecting the appropriate care giver for her...the match up is perfect and we have been able and pleased to have the same caregiver for over two years...i as a medical doctor , have been given the courtesy and care that is greatly appreciated for my wife...we have worked out with H.I. a system of reporting that is easy for us and requires little effort on our part... thank you HOME INSTEAD FOR YOUR INTEREST AND CARE OF MY WIFE... signed JOSEPH W. When my dad suddenly fell terminally ill, he needed round-the-clock care in my home... more than we could handle. Home Instead swooped in with loving care for both my parents and my family. They helped my dad with gentleness, respect and loving care. They also helped me, my mom and my family with various errands and chores that I couldnt keep up with. Mostly, their warm friendliness was comforting to each of us in our time of need. Home Instead is GREAT!!!! Mom moved to our house 5+ yrs ago after hip surgery. She broke her hip in 1999 and its just been one thing after another. Shes about to be 82 years young and doesnt get around very well. Mom asked me to get some help for her because she wanted to take some of the stress off of me. We have four generations in our house including my 13 month old grandson. Home Instead has been such a blessing! Ms Sharon comes to our house three times a week. She and Mom have become great friends. The whole family is very comfortable with the process. God bless Ms Sharon & Home Instead!!

Home Insteads caregives do a great with my wife who has Parkinsons and has had a stroke. They help with cleaning and sometimes take my wife shopping. Most of all, they are dependable. Once a month a representative stops by to make sure everything is going well. It is obvious that they care a great deal about the quality of care they deliver. I recommend Home Instead.
