i was there in 2016 and i have to say you have your pros and cons. the food wasnt good and the staff was sometimes rude, the bedding was terrible, it was like you were sleeping on the matting from kindergarten , on top of wood .. some of the staff was good, but you had to wake up super early , even on the weekends, youre not allowed outside , even though the whole place is secure, i recommend a crisis unit, ive been there too and its really good, besides waiting 2 days to call anyone.. the school was boring , and you were being taught things the oldest in the group was learning, because when i was in there i was 13 and learning 10th grade work, therapy didnt help me , because im hard to work with. but im not saying it wont work for you just go to a crisis unit, the one near Kroger is sooooo much better thanks.

Aaron Stark-Father of Patient: My daughter went to the facility 3 times within a month and a half time period. When returning home, she had a UTI, Scabies, and had not shaved nor brushed her teeth the entire time she was there. Im extremely displeased to have my adolescent child taken there for psychiatric care and come out needing a detox to recover physically. I have joint custody of my daughter and was never contacted about the medications she was using or only once about her recovery. I strongly advise anyone that is having a troubled youth, to reconsider taking their child here. There are many other places to choose from.

I Want To come back here soooo soo bad I love it here friendly people, staff, and my god the patients were awesome there always cooperative and never seen a angry one there before! But sadly my stupid grandparents say they dont want me here they just want my medical bills and I been here for only 1 day which I stayed here actually in 4 days! Hell living with my grandparents is terrible! Rather live at Rivendell Behavorial Health In Bowling Green Kentucky Then Live With My Terrible Grandparents!

Very rude and snobby staff. Respect and safety of patients is nearly non-existent. Advice for patients: You are a person who is valuable, despite how you may be treated and talked to here. Stay strong and ignore the rude and hateful, instead seeking out other kind-hearted people so that you can help and support one another.

I went there when I was 15 they helped me more than anything in the world. I was very blessed that I went. I was headed down a bad path. I would recommend this for parents for thier children. I am 26 now and I have accomplished so much in my life.
