It was the second worst clinic visit I have ever had! I have never met Dr. Joubert, but the woman that calls herself Dr. Ory doesnt deserve the title of Dr. or MD. She doesnt introduce herself, shes rude as hell and no, what we call bedside manner! I have dealt with the hiv virus for 35 years, treating aids patients and taking care of them with great compassion at Chairity Hospital, as well as Ochsner in the early 80s when our country was hit the hardest by this horrible disease! The worst thing a person can do is kick someone in the teeth, so to speak, when their already down! This woman is prejudice and doesnt give a damn how she speaks to a patient that has already been depressed, down on themselves, and already in a fragile state of mind due to AIDS! This type of action towards a patient is detrimental to their health! I was intelligent enough to have my smartphone on record as Ms. Ory spoke! Needless to say, my attorney was not pleased with Ms. Ory or her treatment of an AIDS patient! I did not use the title of Dr. or MD, as this incompetent woman is not either one and never should be allowed to practice medicine anywhere on this earth! If Ory got away with treating me like this, I am sure theres others out there that will step up and step forward to tell their story of the narcissistic, sociopath that calls herself Dr. Ory for Slidell Memorial! After spending 30 years in the medical field, I can tell a good doctor from a bad doctor in 5 seconds, thats an easy one to catch! I will never darken the doorway of Slidell Memorial Hospital again in this lifetime! But that doesnt mean I will ever forget this or let it go! As in the wise words of Maya Angelou, "Ive learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Joseph Eric Lee

Worst hospital ever their er sucks. We both myself and I were both in a motorcycle accident today while getting ex rays some stole my $120 dollar ed hardy shirt and upon checkout I notify my nurse that not only is my shirt missing. They stole my sock too just one they bring in thier police officer to intimidate me and I felt threatend .I dont care if it was a 5 dollar shirt it was mine and everyone was rude about it so charge my insurance thousands of dollars and u have to steal my shirt and not even take up for me when it was missing no one from my family will ever be back andthe Dr doctor didnt even show back up to talk to me until I demanded they were discharging me and they fave me no option but to go home in a papper shirt and one sock .....never felt so disrespected.......

If there is a God, the non-compassionate, Dr. Kevorkians like Dr. Kemp will suffer to their last breath!!! God damn your souls to hell and all your family and friends. Making the big bucks just to coax incoherent people into signing themselves into hospice. Look up the lawsuits and med-mals this 3rd world ran, poor excuse for a hospital has. Look at the cover-up attempts these cowards made to conceal how much their CEO was getting to lie and falsify patient info!!! Louisiana is so inbred and corrupt... The only state that will hire these death doctors when they have so many complaints and grievances stacked against them!!! When its your kid, your parent, your loved one then you can do what you feel is right but this is about my loved one!!!

After my father fell and split his head open, we called an ambulance and they arrived promptly. Waited 3 hours until we could see him. While in the room, having a heated discussion on whether to leave or not a cop came in and kicked me out. He was the meanest cop Ive ever met and had no compassion. The nurses were aggravated at every word anyone said. The educated guy at the front desk was the worst help in the world. Being "busy" to be unable to help or answer questions is a poor excuse. This isnt south side Chicago, this is Slidell, and they should have understanding and temperament to help a local family in a time of need. I understand hospitals and their work, and I have to say this place is poorly run.

Waited in the ER for almost 9 hours before getting a CT to confirm appendicitis. That was a bit annoying, but they were very busy and I wasnt in much pain. Had the surgery the next day. My surgeon was super nice and explained everything. The nurses were great. At the time I really hated aloof them though, but thats because I didnt want to be there of course. Looking back, it was as good of an experience as an unexpected two day hospital visit could really be. I do wish the ER bathrooms were cleaner the first time I walked in there. It was pretty gross, but like I said they were super busy.

Extremely Slow!! And the dirtiest hospital that I have ever been in. Every where I went there was dirt and dust. The air vents looked like they havent been cleaned since they opened the new ED a few years ago. We were in ED #19 and the floor and walls had dirt that I cant even describe. The hand sanitation station had stuff running down the walls and hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. We spent 6 hours in the ER and if I ever get injuried again I wont be going back here. Let me die in the street in front on the sidewalk because it is cleaner! Seriously.

Now that Im home... I can tell the real story of the HELL HOLE they call Slidell Memorial Hospital!! I hate hospitals but my last two trips to SMH were a disaster!! The only thing I can say is the nurse Rachel on Monday during the day was wonderful! The PreOp, Surgical, and Recovery staff were great! And the lady that took my blood pressure during the day, Madeline, was a sweetheart! The 2nd ER doc who discharged me seemed to care about me. These are the only people besides my doctor, Cary Gray, that had a caring attitude! The rest didnt give a damn at all!

My experience was beyond exceptional. From the ED up To cardic. As for cleansliness Im an ER tech and if I had a problem with that Id of walked. Ecerywhere I went was very clean as well as the waiting room, bathrooms, and faculty . I wonder if any of these complainers would prefer New Orleans..now thats a place I will never got to, ever! I was treated with nothing but kindness, every single nurse, tech and Dr was professional at a scary moment for me. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. Its CLEAN, and in a very safe area. Thank you to SMH

Terrible staff, who are never around. They show no care towards severely ill patients. They do not want to go the extra mile but to show up every now and then with little to show. My fiancé is going through nursing school, asked the nurse that was supposed to care for her grandfather for some eye drops for him but instead gave her the saline drops and stated that she was going through nursing school and for her to do it herself. A joke of a hospital and a Complete outrage!
