The doctor is great, however his staff is less than incompetent. His office staff to be exact. Today he lost a patient because I had left three voice mails requesting an appointment for my son. Instead of attempting to get me in with the Doctor the same day or even showing any remourse for their mistake at all she offered to make me an appointment for the following week. When I asked her why I hadnt recieved a return phone call in reference to my sons appointment she said they were short staffed the previous day. This is nonsense, I had left three voice mails at this point, and there were five people working in the office. Hopefully he fixes this problem because he is honestly a great doctor.

Dr. Sumilang is a great doc, however the billing department is rude, ignorant and very unprofessional. They waited over 2 yrs to send me a bill for $125 . If i owed the money i wouldnt have a problem but when i looked at my records they indecated i had insurance. When I contacted my old insurance company they said they dont keep records of ppl that are no longer with them back that far. So because of their negligence I have to pay a bill that was already payed. This is not the first time weve had an issue from the billing department. Weve since found a new pediatrician and will no longer be going back to this on professional doctors office.

Weve had the pleasure of having Dr. Sumilang as our pediatrician for six years until we moved out of state this year. It was such a terrible loss because its really difficult to find a caring, patient and professional physician. We highly recommend him to anyone! The staff can be less than stellar sometimes but they do try their best with regular patients.

When my son was born, he had a few issues and Dr. Sumilang told me to call his cell and keep him updated. He always tells me if I have any issues, I can call him directly. He is very kind and doesnt rush you out. He takes time to answer any questions and always makes me feel at ease. He is a wonderful, caring doctor.

Dr. Sumilang is the best. He does so well with my kids and they trust him! Taking them to the doctors is a huge relief and Dr. Sumilang really listens to the patient and the parent.
