But negatives. Dr. prescribed a Pro-Tec Night Splint. When I got to the front desk the lady who was processing the paperwork asked me to sign so that they could bill my insurance company for the splint. The price of the splint at the office is $312.00!! I signed off, but when I got into my car it hit me, "maybe I should Google this device." Sure enough, you can buy the same brand night splint at a number of places online for $38.50. I immediately turned the car around and returned the splint. Given that my insurance would have paid only 20% or so of that $312, had I gone ahead and allowed the office to bill my insurance I would have paid $85.00 out of pocket for something that I can buy retail for $38.50. To make matters more interesting, the Dr also referred me to a local running store to be fitted with some new running shoes. While at the running store I was informed that they sold the night splints there for $50.00! Dr prescribed night splint: $312.00, metatarsal pads (unknown office price but I bough them online for $12.00) and custom orthotics for $400.00. All told, the visit, not including the office visit charge and x-rays, would have cost me in excess of $712.00. The coup de tat: when I got home I realized that no one at the front desk had given me the paperwork that outlined the stretches and icing procedures I was supposed to follow for the 30 next days. Rather than calling or going back to the Drs office I simply searched Youtube for information and found out everything I needed to do, and also found out that I never really needed to visit the podiatrist for plantar fasciitis or predislocation syndrome (aka capsulitis). Anything I needed to know was right there on Youtube. I would really like to go back for my 30-day follow up just to ask the Dr how they can sell their aids at a 900% mark up with a clear conscience, but I realize Id be paying another office visit, and that simply isnt in my budget! Update: December 7, 2016 --- I received my explanation of benefits from Anthem BCBS yesterday and lo and behold, the $312.00 scam-devidce was not removed from the billing, even though I returned it to the office unopened and they told me they would not submit it for billing. I have reduced my review to 1-star, but would gladly give zero stars if that were an option. I have attached pictures of both my EOB and the VERY SAME ITEM, available at Walmart.

Dr. Chung fixed what two other podiatrists at other practices had screwed up. He is terrific, and so is the staff! I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen, and they were very prompt with my light duty work orders for my employer. Top notch service!

Dr. Chun is wonderful. I called the office for an ingrown toenail and they got me right in and Dr. Chun was on time and took the time with me to get it taken care of immediately. The front desk staff is equally as good. I would highly recommend this practice
