Terrible experiences here. My wife went in a few months ago to get a referral for the chiropractor and allergist. They for whatever reason did not complete the referral for the chiropractor so now they want her to come back in for another appointment for something she had already been seen for. This is what they do. They schedule unnecessary appointments and make you wait at least 30 minutes for a half-assed assessment. Which leads me to my last complaint (I have more but who wants to read all of them). I was MISDIAGNOSED with anxiety and given medication I should not have been on. It is now 9+ months and I am still suffering from the damage the drugs did, and when I talked to Dr Blackwood and said that I was concerned about the withdrawal he said with ZERO compassion, "its all in your head... youll thank me after two weeks". Im sorry, but NO. I am not going to thank you for ruining my life. You and the other doctors need to stop treating people like meat and actually listen/care about your patience. I wish I could give 0 stars...

They take the patients out of the waiting room just to have them sit in the back and not be seen for another hour. If it was just the one time I could excuse it as just being backed up that day, but it has been multiple (well over 5 times) and I think weve finally learned our lesson. This office very nearly made us late for another appointment, which wed made sure to leave enough time just in case things were a little backed up at Blackwoods, and we actually would have been late had we not gone back up to the front desk to urge them to hurry with taking care of scanning a few papers(which they had previously just set to the side and said they would bring it out in a bit instead of taking care of).

Went in for a blood draw today at 7:48am. I had a surgery scheduled for 10:00am, and needed to be there by 9:00am. There were two people in front of me. I sat in the chair to have my blood drawn at 8:20am. By 8:30am I was still waiting. I had to walk out without any service in order to get to the hospital. Thanks to their ineptitude, I missed my surgery show time and had to reschedule. Better luck in three months, I guess. Bottom line, Im now looking for a competent doctors office.

Dr. Blackwood and his team are an outstanding group of physicians. The Office Manager, however, can be very condescending and thinks he can talk to you any type of way. They also have a few practices that seem questionable. For instance, if they call you in a prescription without you being seen for a visit, they charge a $25.00 convenience fee to call it in. They are also not very flexible with the copay, which in this day and age is unfortunate.

Love them. We have been going there for many years, and they are wonderful. Even if they are busy they always squeeze us in. I love the fact that they have a room set up with a back entrance for newborns and young children, so that we dont have to come in contact with sick patients. Plus I have never had a doctor call me personally a few days after the appointment to check in and see how we are doing. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Blackwood is simply amazing. If you are looking for a great doctor, whether you are 1 day or 100years old, Dr. Blackwood is excellent. My experiences have not always been perfect, but my family and I have been going there for almost 6 years and overall, it is a good little practice.

Amazing Staff~ from receptionist~ nurses~ & doctors (especially Dr. Mortez) My wife is a critical care patient & they did everything & allowed us questions! ITS HARD TO FIND THIS KIND OF CARE THESE DAYS!!!!!!! WISH I COULD GIVE MORE STARS!!!!!!

After seeing a doctor sommewhere else on first colonial who when i told him i had anxiety and depression he told me he didnt have time to deal with that... So i came here and i definitly recommend it here. They are awesome here

Horrible wait time....literally waited an hour and a half before being called back. Empty waiting room, they kept calling people back that had gotten there long after I had checked in. Definitely switching doctors.
