On April 18, 2016, Dr. Campbell performed a tendon transfer, calcaneal osteotomy, and gastrocnemius recession to correct the posterior tibial tendon dysfunction in my left foot. From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Campbell has rated five stars all the way! His office staff and physicians assistants are wonderful, as well. At diagnosis, Dr. Campbell gave me plenty of information and encouraged me to complete my own research. Once I had selected a surgical remedy, he painstakingly walked me through what was involved in the procedures and in recovery. He made sure I had what I needed to take care of myself at home after the surgery (a bench for the shower, a knee scooter for getting around) and recommended that I have someone in the house for awhile to help me. I was very lucky, and spoiled, to have my mom come and stay with me for the first two weeks. I was given the choice to spend one night in the hospital, or go home the same day of the surgery. I chose same day and also chose a nerve block so that the pain medications could be reduced in my anesthesia. I was sent home with an appropriate amount of pain medication, and found that after a few days, I needed very little of it. I followed Dr. Campbells directions to a tee, keeping my foot elevated at all times during those first two weeks. After the splint and stitches were removed at 2.5 weeks post-op, Dr. Campbell gave me an Aircast walking boot to protect my foot when I used the knee scooter. He had me start stretching my foot and bending my toes to regain flexibility when I was sitting around. Many other doctors choose to put their patients in a hard cast for a several weeks after the splint is removed, and from what Ive read in the blogs of people recovering from the same surgery, this really impedes their natural foot movement all through recovery, sometimes permanently. At six weeks post-op, Dr. Campbell had me start bearing weight on my left foot. Once again, I followed his instructions exactly, and transitioned from standing to walking within a few weeks. Now, at three months post-op I am walking in sneakers (with good foot stabilization technology) at 95% of my normal gait and speed! I fit into my original shoe size, and I am experiencing only mild pain and swelling; much less pain than pre-surgery. Helpful hint: compression socks work wonders for minimizing swelling and the pain that accompanies it. I cannot recommend Dr. Campbell highly enough! Ive walked around with flat feet for 52 years, and if the other side ever gives out, Ill be right back in his office.

The front desk is an absolute mess. This goes for Princess Anne Ambulatory as well. Poor communication with billing, contacting insurance companies, and scheduling something as simple as physical therapy. God forbid you pay with cash because theyll start running around like chickens with their head cut off looking for change. No complaints with my Doctor at all, in fact my surgery went well and I have fully recovered. If anyone wants me to elaborate at all just email me at landonx14 @ gmail . com and I will gladly tell you my full experience for my full explanation went past the character limit.

Tried to book an appointment and the girl was less than helpful. I asked about locations and she either didnt know or didnt want to tell me where they were in relation to my neighborhood, littleneck. Sighed alot, as if to say i was a bother bc i needed an 8am time slot. Told me she had 10 am at the only location i could recognize the street for. And then told me to just use that one and walk in between 4 and 9

I think they are AWESOME! I saw my primary for an acute partial achillies tendon rupture. They worked me in the next 2 hours. Charlie Bradshaw is so wonderful and caring. He listened and responded to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He is wonderful and very caring. The whole staff can be commended for customer service and excellent patient care. I would recommend them to everyone.

Not a great experience. Place had a "too busy to be bothered" sort of atmosphere. Dr. and staff, while fairly friendly, seemed too harried and hurried to properly examine and/or diagnose my injury (which they actually didnt). I wont see them again.

Agree with the comment that the lady answering the phone is less that helpful. I was recommended to them to get a second opinion on a knee problem Im having. After talking to her for less than a minute I gave up.
