I knew Dr. Hiers (Bonnie) since the early 90s when I moved to the area and wanted to find a dentist in my plan. I seriously hated going to the dentist and my experiences as a young person were traumatic. However, when I just picked her name out of many in my area, I hoped and prayed that everything would be okay, since I hadnt been to a dentist in a while. Her touch was amazing and she made me feel comfortable right away, always talking me through what to expect, so that there werent any surprises. Luckily for me, there werent and shes been with me through my braces period and then she left the office to start her own practice. Needless to say I was mortified. Well it didnt take me long to make the decision to follow Dr. Hiers. I said it back then and Ill say it again, "My teeth and smile are in the best hands ever!!" She, and her entire staff have the best "bed-side" manners of any group Ive ever been with. I wouldnt trust my pearly whitdes to anyone else. Best Dentist ever, and Ive been knowing her for 20+ years!! Im not going anywhere else.

I have had the pleasure to have been a patient of Dr. Bonnie Hiers since 1988...and I say the "pleasure" because before that time I had some unpleasant experiences with other Dentists and Orthodontists. Bonnie Hiers is not just a Dentist---she is an "Artiste"! If you need a crown or a cap or a filling, you wont be able to tell the real from the replacement! These days its hard to find a Doctor that you can really communicate with, and really get a feeling that you are not just another patient in a waiting room. Speaking of "waiting rooms"...thats never a problem at her office, and especially if you need emergency services for a root canal (Ive had several) or any other situation, Dr. Hiers will get you in there right away and take care of it. After these 26 years, I consider Bonnie to be a friend as well, and she will make anyone who sees her and her staff feel that way as well, from the first appointment. Five Stars, absolutely! Sleep apnea is something you dont trifle with. When my mother was ill I discovered apnea. She stopped breathing while sleeping. She was diagnosed with acute sleep apnea. I had an inkling I had the same issue and turned myself in for a sleep study. Yep, apnea was diagnosed. A physician prescribed a CPAP device. Over time I couldnt tolerate using the mask. Looking for another solution, I came across an article discussing a snore guard.....an oral appliance. Oral equated to dentist so I called Dr. Hiers and asked her for help. She fitted me with a mandibular advancement device (MAD), in English, a snore guard. The MAD device works wonders. I feel rested again. It also serves as a night guard to keep my beautifully realigned teeth in proper position. Dr. Hiers continues to work her magic for me. I refer her at every opportunity. After a very bad experience with my former dentist, I stayed away from the dentist for some 21 years. After speaking to Bonnie in a social setting, I got up the courage to go in. The staff was AMAZING! Bonnies chair-side manner is kind, understanding and direct. She doesnt sugar-coat any issues (pun fully intended) and is very direct in a kind and helpful way. Just what you are looking for in a dentist. no lecturing, no yelling no admonishments. Bonnie is fantastic! After a few visits 21 years of not going was reversed and now, quarterly visits are not feared rather I look forward to them! The staff is also very wonderful and thats because of Bonnies leadership style. Never a flaw in billing and very accommodating in scheduling. Go to see her!

Ive been a patient of Dr Hiers for over 20 years. I have many tooth problems including severe grinding, multiple tooth fractures, repeated chipping of teeth, multiple root canals, bridges, tooth implants, and more. After poor dentistry from other dentists I would follow Dr Hiers almost anywhere. I have been her patient in Hyattsville, Laurel, and Ellicott City. The long drive from New Carrollton is worth every mile and minutes to get to such an excellent dentist. Dr Hiers has been creative in making dental appliances and tooth structures for me. She is always pleasant, caring, and available when I need her. Thank you Dr Hiers and staff.

I have been blessed with excellent dentists all of my life. After my last dentist retired early, I searched for two years to find someone I liked. Dr. Heirs is a consummate professional. Kind hearted, excellent skills, and spends as much time as she needs with me. We brought my 94-year-old father in law to her. He was a swell guy but was set in his ways. Dr. Heirs had him wrapped around her finger and she made him very happy - and compliant. I now travel over three hours for my appointments and have no plans to change.

Ive been seeing Dr Hiers for about 7 years. Im 55 miles from her office. That might tell you how much I trust and appreciate her and her staff.
