Greatest experience ever! I knew when I walked out of the office this morning with my teen aged Sons I was going to write a review and after reading some of the negative comments, I definitely had to make sure that I followed through! Many people get mad and take the time to write a negative review but most will have a fine or wonderful experience and not to take the time to give Kudos where it should be given. My boys needed blood work and although my 14 year old has had it done many times, my almost 17 year old had not. He is not a sissy, just could never handle the sight of blood. Hes kind of grown out of it since hes gotten past it but still a little nervous, just mustard up the courage to finally go. My Mother in Law had an 8 AM appointment @ Quest on Oakwood Rd, theyre never busy so we decided afterward to run up to Lab Corp, Crain Towers, without an appointment. The boys have to go there because of different insurance. We know from experience with the youngest that this is a busy location, usually anywhere from 10-30 people waiting but it was early so we took a chance. Surprisingly it was not bad, 10 people total, some with appointments, some walk ins like us. We walked in, were greeted by Julie, signed in, and took a seat. It was 8:25 AM. We knew we may be skipped a little, not having an appointment, but very quickly Julie was getting everyone registered in the computer and then her help arrived and things moved even faster. Julie soon called us over, both boys at the same time, she was very friendly, polite, and well educated in what her job was. She processed us quickly, smiled, and then said just take a seat for another minute or two, it wont be long. Sure enough it wasnt but a minute or two. We were called back for the bloodwork, both boys at once again, we were greeted by Sherrell who was very friendly, went out of her way to joke with the boys because you know how 14 & 17 year old boys can be early in the AM, and were finished in about 3 minutes. Sherell was AWESOME! She asked the boys to confirm names & dobs, like she is suppose to, but had the kids laughing while doing so. She learned it was my oldest Sons first time & how he had problems with the sight of blood in younger years. She joked around with both kids, made them comfortable & at ease, all while completing her tasks quickly, and she even used the butterfly needle like you would normally do for a smaller child, but he didnt know that. Sherrell just wanted to make his first experience a pleasant one and it was. She really went out of her way to make everyone comfortable, have a fun experience while doing so, and also get us in & out quickly. We went with no real expectations or rush and were pleasantly surprised at how well the experience went and how fast we were in & out. We only interacted with these 2 ladies but the place was very cheerful, including the patients and the entire experience was smooth and very much appreciated. People do not get enough positive feedback when they do their job well and I walked out saying to our group that I would definately have to take the time to write a review. We really appreciated how well our visit and experience was. You could tell these ladies enjoyed their job and working with the public, not just to get a paycheck, but also for the rewarding feeling of helping others. They really made our morning!

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!! If customer service is important to you, DO NOT go here. If youre okay with people addressing you with an attitude and talking to you how ever they please, then you will love the heck out of this place... I called before my appointment to confirm if they were located N or S on Crain Hwy. When I asked, the woman lazily answered with, "I dont know." Thats it. No, "Ill check on that or let me find that out for you." Just, "I dont know." I took a gamble and pick South, which ended up being the right location, thankfully. When I showed up the lobby was packed full. I didnt sweat it because I had an appointment. After sitting for 30 mins, and not seeing more than 2 people go back, I was finally called to the desk for them to take my information. When I sat at the desk, the woman proceeded to talk to her coworker about a restaurant that had $2 appetizers. I sat silently and waited to be addressed. I dont about you, but when I sit in front of someone, I expect to hear a "hello" or "I need ___. But no, this woman completely ignored me and talked to her coworker for quite some time. When she finished her conversation, she turned and looked at me with an attitude and said, "I need your information." I answered with, "So do you need my ID, insurance info, my appointment number, or my lab request from my doctor...?" With an attitude, she said ID and insurance. While she type my info, I explained that I had an appointment for my 14 month old for a heel prick lead test. "We dont do that!" she said. I told her that her website says that Labcorp does pediatric lab testing, and, holding up the lab request from her pediatrician, that the doctor specifically wrote the request on Labcorp paper. "What she need again?" Pointing to the form I placed in front of her, "A lead test." "Oh we dont heel prick, we gonna draw from her arm." I have no idea why Labcorp needs to draw from the arm of a baby, when the test only requires a DROP of blood. I explained that my doctor said this test would be a heel prick. "No. We gonna draw from her arm." with a matter-of-a-fact attitude. I told her that I would need to check with her doctor, because that isnt what I was told. She told me to "call her doctor", with a rude look on her face. I called and the doctor stated that they recommend heel pricks, no need for an arm draw. When I told the woman, she said no Labcorp will do that. So I said, then I wont be using Labcorp and I will need to cancel her appointment. I was ushered to go back to the waiting area to be drawn. At this point I had been waiting for almost an hour. I had an appointment and was fasting for my lab work and starving. I took one look around the lobby at ALL the people waiting and said, nope, Im done. I was already running late for work. This whole process should have taken no more than 15 mins of my time, at most, with the appointment that I made a week ago. As I went to tell them I was leaving, several other people had enough and were leaving too. One women had been waiting over an hour . Terrible location!!! Everyone was RUDE and unprofessional. Theres no way Id let any of these ladies put a needle in my arm, never mind my baby. NOPE.

If I could give a negative star, I would! Ive been 3 times amd every time they ask for a cc to hold my fees. My insurance covers everything and I will not give them my information! Its like they dont trust anyone, which I understand however I have good insurance and its not necessary. They look at me like Im some kind of idiot when I say no. They carry on conversations, are rude to patients and can never seem to find things! But, thats not the worst thing theyve done! Im 5 months pregnant and have had blood work done 3 times now, same location. The first time, everything was fine, all results were fine & normal. The next time I went, someone filed my work incorrectly or read the results wrong. They said I had Hep B, which Ive never had, have been vaccinated for and could not possibly have got. This is a horrible thing for someone to hear, especially someone who is pregnant! Going through hell, more tests, calls from my doctor and another blood test, they then said I was a carrier. Again, not possible! Nothing made sense, so I went to a different lab. Results came back negative for all! So, someone at this lab read my results wrong that 1 time and Ive been stressed beyond belief for no reason! You dont do that to anyone! Especially someone whos pregnant! Ill never go back.
