Be sure to confirm what youre getting in to before you go to this place. Ive been to two other providers for quotes for braces. They are both very different approaches, timelines, and prices so I wanted a third quote. Both places Ive been to had free consultations. They didnt bill insurance, me, or anyone else. Its a free consultation, with the possibility that theyre going to make thousands if I chose their practice. I took it for granted that consultations were free. When I got to this place they wanted to charge me $69 and then have me try to get it refunded from my insurance. They said that was their contract with my insurance (A BCBS provider so its not a no name insurance). Im not going to pay them and have to hound my insurance company for a refund, or even if they gladly do it, I have to wait for it. 2 out of 3 providers have done the consult for free so far, and I already have an appointment for a free consult elsewhere. Its the principle of the thing. If that service is typically free, then I dont want a company charging my insurance in a round about way, and running up my insurance costs over time. They may be a great practice, but if theyre charging a not insignificant fee for a service that is typically free elsewhere, what other hidden costs will they have that other practices dont charge for?

Dr. Farrugia was our family dentist for many years; however, recently I was experiencing unexplained pain in my mouth and Dr. Farrugia initiated a procedure and gave me temporary cap until the remaining work could be completed. While at home, the cap fell off my back tooth leaving me in extreme pain due to exposed nerves. I immediately called Dr. Farrugia who forgot his compassion and and treated me with a total lack of respect. In addition, I was charged at the first visit for work he had not even yet performed. After a letter to him, I received a partial refund. In the end, the work he performed was not necessary to correct the problem I was experiencing and and as a result, I ended up having to have the tooth removed. I will never use or refer anyone to this dentistry.

The best dentist experience Ive ever had! I typically dread the dentist, but the staff at White Marsh Family Dentistry put me right at ease. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. After checking me in, I was brought back to be seen within 30 seconds! Angie is a fantastic dental hygienist. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions/concerns thoroughly. She provided helpful advice and even brought to my attention things that no other dentist/orthodontist ever has! Dr. Farrugia is very nice and easygoing. He was receptive to my concerns and provided a clear treatment plan. I highly recommend White Marsh Family Dentistry to anyone in the area looking for a dentist!

Going to the dentist for me is now a pleasurable experience. White Marsh family dentistry is amazing from the moment you walk into the door. I love the updated equipment and spacious waiting area. Dr Litwin has always went above and beyond to find solutions to the challenges during my visits. Susan is a very detail oriented. She always knows the answer when it comes to my insurance and billing. You will receive quantity service from a simple teeth cleaning to more complicated issues. I would personally recommend this office to EVERYONE!

The office staff is very friendly! I see Dr. Litwin and he is awesome!!! Seriously, the greatest doctor ever! He truly cares about his patients and their smiles :) He takes the time to work with you and is so personable. He even took the time to call me after a filling to make sure I was doing okay. Id highly recommend white marsh family dentistry to everyone!!! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!

I have only seen Farrugia and he is great. Laid back but clearly very competent. Has always taken my questions and concerns seriously, which I appreciate. Being talked down to be a provider is unacceptable these days and you wont find any of that here. Professional staff and nice clean facility. Five stars all the way! I actually refer coworkers all the time.

Had my first appointment here (consultation, xrays, etc.) and had a great experience. All of the staff is courteous and friendly. The waiting room and patient rooms are very clean and modern. The only downside is they are out of my network, but I will look into changing insurances next year so they can be in network - cant say that very often!
