Everyone seemed nice but the office staff could use more training. My initial visit was good & the hygienist seemed fun but its been downhill from there. My younger sister visited & was told it would only be an extra $75 to be put to sleep during her wisdom tooth extraction only to find out AFTER the procedure that they dont do anesthesia at that office. That was her only request & the fact that she was lied to right before & told some random amount is troubling. If youre unsure of something...ask. Accounting was a nightmare. Somehow, my account kept getting mixed up with other peoples... address, billing & all. The ledger provided upon request was pointless because it showed no details/reason for what the 101 adjustments were for. The office said they fixed the issue multiple times but it still went on.. My expierence makes me question their charges. Ive never had to pay so much per each dental visit like I had to here. I would not recommend this headache.

The only reason I gave them one star is due to the hygienist Aleshia who was very informative and very personable. The Doctor had no personality at all! I went for my 6 month cleaning and left having to pay $35 for fluoride that my insurance doesnt cover since Im an adult. It would have been nice to know before you did anything with the fluoride that there was additional charge not once Im checking out. Lastly, I received a bill for $80. I just had a cleaning done and Ive never had to pay for anything that wasnt explained to me before it was done especially if a charge was associated with the procedure. I would not recommend this office to anyone unless you have money to waste!

Do not visit this office. My girlfriend met with them to come up with a dental care plan, her only stipulation, which she repeated multiple times with multiple staff members, was not to exceed her insurance coverage. They came up with a plan and after her very first visit, she was hit with a $350 bill for charges outside of her insurance. This is not an amount that she just has laying around, this is a significant overage and I would not recommend anyone visit this office if you are at all concerned about staying within your insurance limitations.

I have been going to this dentist office for about a year now after not been to a dentist for some years. I love and enjoy going here. Everyone is nice I have never had problems. I love my hygientist aleshia, she is so nice and make you feel welcome. Everyone knows what they are doing and I enjoy coming to get my teeth cleaned.

Dr. McKinley Price is a complete jerk. Very smug and not a good person or dentist. Its a shame Hes the mayor of Newport News. Do not go to this place. the receptionist is also very rude. A couple of the hygienists are pleasant however.

This office goes above and beyond. Dr Price knows what he is doing, quiet but professional. No pain, no wait, I recommend it to anyone looking for a dental home.
