i went to the alexandria clinic, is in a "private" building where they have some suites for offices, i had to wait in the cold for about 15 minutes because they need to ring you in, i arrived and the door was locked, i had to fill up some papers and then the doctor filled them up again with the same answers that were already written, he did no questions, like a dont ask dont tell mood i had to be telling him all what i have being feeling, yet he didnt make any connection more than diabetes.... like if tht is the only issue i could have, then i did my labs (blood and pap) i had to call 2 weeks later because he never called (nor his office either) and he just said you are not diabetic, but you have this....and you need to go to other doctor because i wont take care of it, (i got a thyrod issue not like is rocket science!) very upsetting, now im on the quest to find other doctor that will ask my name before what kind of insurance i have....

I called about 20 doctors in the area trying to get a last minute appointment for my yearly woman exam/STD testing before my insurance ended in a few days...no one was able to get me in till I contacted Dr. Kenneth DeSandies. He personally got on the phone with me and listened to my concerns about getting in ASAP and told me to just head over and hed make sure Id be seen. He and his staff were very kind and accommodating. I go in and out in a timely manner too. The Dr. even gave me coupons for medicine I might need in the future should I not be able to get insurance again till I find a new job with benefits. All in all it was a great experience and I appreciate how kind this doctor and his office staff were to me. Thank you!

Dr. DeSandies is a kind and compassionate Dr. I am sad to see his depart from his Oxon Hill practice at the end of May. I was a patient of his for about three years. I always felt like I was in and out of my Drs appt. in no time. I also felt like he took the time to listen to my concerns and he took time to explain answers to my questions.
