Review: Dr. Peter Merai Recently I heard a joke. A father and son go into a well-known designer store. The son was a very smart, animated, kid who like many kids speak honestly and straight from the heart---no coating of the truth---that is the virtue they have naturally at that age. The father is busy shopping for a pair of expensive designer glasses and does find a pair. He tries them on, he turns to his son and ask his son for an opinion. The kid with all honesty says, “Wow dad, those glasses look great…..ALL YOU HAVE TO DO NOW IS GET YOUR TEETH FIXED!” LOL! I was referred to Dr. Merai by a retired faculty member and doctor of dentistry of a prominent school of dentistry. Since he was retired, he could no longer be my dentist, but referred me to another dentist. He said, Dr. Merai was his “protégé. “I asked, would you let him work on you?” Without any hesitation, he said Yes! In terms of dental emergencies and overall dental events, Dr. Merai has saved me! Not all dentists are the same in terms of knowledge, skill, current technology and procedures! Dr. Merai is not just a dentist but a dental surgeon. Please be advised that Merai has thorough knowledge, knows current technology, knows current procedures, and has immense skill and talent! He is a miracle worker! I know because he has saved my dental health several times! Furthermore, he possesses a marvelous sense of humor and the best chair-side manner. When you are in the chair, you really need a doctor who will keep you clam and in good spirits! He is gifted in dentistry, and also as a kind humanist! No matter how serious or dire your dental situation may be-----Dr. Merai is the guy who will get you through the calamity successfully! I know, I have been there! Please, don’t be like the father in my story above and ignore your dental health! Steve P.

For several years, I have been fortunate to be a patient of the Dr. Peter Merai, DDS, dental office. What continues to impress, is his concern for patients, that is, taking the time in patiently explaining procedures, to include other procedure options, and he always greets with a reassuring “how are you today?”. When you visit Dr. Merai, for what seems, exclusively a dental procedure, he is also availing of the visit to undertake, the all-important, oral exam. Sometimes, your scheduled visit in the “chair” might run a little longer than expected, but rest assured, Dr. Merai is meticulous in his craft and will not release you from his attention until he is satisfied with the procedure-end results. I have recommended Dr. Merai to several associates, especially my associates with a deathly fear of the numbing oral injections—Dr. Merai knows how to induce a relatively painless injection—his injection technique is incomparable. Hallelujah I had a root canal today done by Dr Peter Merai and he did an outstanding job. It was 99% pain free. His professionalism, experience and the sterilization and cleanliness of his office and tools is a gift from GOD. Dr Merai and his wife Michelle Merai, DDS always have your best interest in mind. They want you to have a healthy mouth and beautiful teeth. Also they take dental insurance and have financial plans available for those who need them. I have been coming here for over 10 years and my teeth are beautiful. I prayed and asked GOD to send me to a doctor that would love JESUS CHRIST therefore I would get Heavens best service and not get cheated and GOD sent me to Dr Peter Merai the one stop shop you need no other dentist. His services are comprehensive so he can do oral surgery and everything. Both Dr Peter and Dr Michelle Merai operate with all the latest and best equipment and techniques. Professional, Positive, Caring Dr. Merai has provided excellent dental care for my family since 2001. Dr. Peter and his wife Michelle who is also a DDS operate a small very personalized office. What keeps me coming back to Dr. Merai is his ability to provide pain-free procedures during all the fixes done to maintain my teeth. The office always keeps you informed of needed maintenance and prioritizes emergencies. When two of my teeth broke near the front of my mouth from an old bridge put in by another dentist, Dr. Merai, replace those teeth with two implanted teeth. I was so happy because I could smile again and there was no pain during the procedure. So if you are looking for professional and caring dental care, I suggest you check out Dr. Merai. Recently, had a tooth filled and my teeth cleaned, and now they feel so smooth. 

This is my second attempt to provide feedback on Dr. Peter Meri, who is one of the very best dentist I have had the pleasure of having work on my oral requirements. After servicing 28 years in the military and over 20 years of government service, I have had alot of dental work performed, Dr. Meri has changed my whole outlook on the dental experience. My fear of going to the dentist has been totally removed from my mind based on Dr. Meris compassionate and professional approach to denistry. I simply thought that one had to endure pain whenever dental work was performed. I was taught, through actual experience that a professional, can make an unpleasant dental experience comfortable and achieve quality results. Over 20 years ago a friend referred me to Dr. Peter Merai, it was a great experience with him then, and over 20 years later he still continues to provide the best care for me and my family that you can ask of a Dentist. He is a true professional, courteous, very knowledgeable in any area of dental needs and he stays updated on the current methods of dental treatment. I referred a family member to him over 15 years ago who needed serious dental work done on the top teeth, where almost the who row needed implants. He did an excellent job then, and even today when I look at those teeth of that family member theyre still looking as good as the day he completed the work back then. I highly recommend Dr. Merai, and I believe you and your family will have an excellent Dental experience with him as well.

I have been coming to Dr Merai for over 13 years and Dr Merai is an excellent dentist. I tried two other dentists and they could not do the work, but Dr Merai had the expertise to do it all. I have recommended several people and family members to come see him and they all said they had excellent service. I had a lot of dental work i.e. , implants, permanent bridge work and braces and I get compliments all the time about how wonderful my teeth look. I was never uncomfortable during my visits and I didnt feel any pain and I am very happy about that. Dr Merai can do any type of dentistry and he did not have to refer me to other dentists to do the complicated stuff. Also when I first came I thought I needed a lot of pain medication afterwards but I never did and that was such a relief.
