You remember that commercial for hour eyes or something where all of the employees at some eye glasses store are lying to their customers about their fancy frames and how they have x-ray powers? Well thats pretty much what this place is. They straight up lie to their customers about the lenses and frames they have, and try to make everything sound fancier than it is. Even worse than that when they get your prescription wrong theyll lie to you about it being correct only to have you have to go through a hassle and hassle again to fix it. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. This isnt from just one bad experience. I got two separate prescriptions over the course of two years at this place. The first time was a disaster, but I thought maybe I just had one bad experience. The second time was somehow even worse! Its bad every time.

Beware! "The Eye Center" charges extremely high fees that they--in sharkish fashion--dont disclose until youre signing in for your appointment. Their "fitting fee" for contacts ($190), for example, will easily consume your entire vision plans allowance before you even get to the point of buying the actual lenses--and this "fitting" applies even if youve been wearing lenses for years. If they charge this much for a "fitting" (which experienced contacts wearers know is a joke, "look right, look left, blink, have a nice day"), then Im glad I left before I found out what astronomical prices they probably charge for services that actually require work.

I paid $140 premium for high refractive lens. But they made a pair of regular lens for me. Long waiting time, and you need to pay for parking. (Rockville Pike office) I totally dont feel any more professional service than Lens Crafter or Pearl Vision. This is my last first and most likely the last business with them.
