Good Doc but......Too expensive......My daughter went to Annandale Eye Care. She has worn contact lens for 9 years. She is a military dependent and our family moves frequently and thus she was a new patient. Our insurance does not cover the contact lens portion of the visit. We were charged $168 (included special pictures of the eye that we did not pre-authorize). Additionally, Annandale Eye Care billed our insurance $265. So...for a regular yearly check up, it cost $433.00. WOW. Dont be fooled like I was and ask about prices before you go to Annandale Eye Care. Due to our insurance, we paid $342 out of pocket...

I have been going to Annandale Eye Care since it opened in the late 1960s, and it only gets better. The staff is great -- solid, long-term employees who work as a team. The doctors are top notch and eager to ensure that my vision needs are fully met -- and if there is a problem of any type between annual visits, they are always there to help. They keep on top of new eye examination technology and I am always impressed with the new equipment that provides better mapping of the eyes and helps the doctors look for potential problems. I heartily recommend Annandale Eye Care as a 5-Star provider.

I had an wonderful experience at Annandale Eye Care!!! I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor. The staff and doctor were extremely courteous, highly professional and very knowledgeable. They were able to resolve my issue quickly and proficiently. I dont wear glasses - I had an eye-related medical problem - but my husband and I will be returning to them from now on for our yearly eye wellness exams! I give them a great review across the board in all areas. If you give them a try, I can not see anyone being disappointed with their practice. They were excellent!!!

Annandale EyeCare was recommended by my eye surgeon. Since Ive had surgeries for detached retina, I needed a doctor who would understand my vision issues when I was examined for new glasses. I was very impressed with Dr. Thelens knowledge and willingness to listen and answer questions. Their office is a bit of a drive from my home, but it was worth it, knowing I was receiving excellent care. I did need my GPS to locate the building since it is in a rather busy area - but other than that, the entire experience, from appointment setting to choosing new frames, was excellent.

Michelle and Courtney Thelen have carried forward his tradition of excellent, compassionate care. The doctors and staff are warm and caring, and the practice is state of the art for routine eye care as well as for special vision problems. When the need arises Drs. Thelen refer their patients forward for top quality ophthalmology services. With Annandale EyeCare my husband and I know we are in good hands!

I saw many positive reviews and came here because it was time for an eye exam. I was greeted and instructed on how to fill out the necessary paperwork. I had very little waiting time to get called for my exam. I had a very thorough eye exam and everything went smoothly. Michelle answered all questions I had and was very helpful. They have a good selection of frames to look at as well.

Got a pair of glasses that I had second thoughts about. Emailed the office asking about return policy, and the optician called me personally to ask how they could make things right. I stopped by their office and they made some adjustments to the frame. Now Im very happy with my glasses. Very good customer service. Avail yourself to the complimentary mini-fridge while youre there.
