Im a new patient. I came in because I was having pain on my tooth. The first call won me over. Caleigh was SO nice over the phone and made me feel at ease about coming in. The first visit involved a lot of new things but they were explained to me in detail by Dr. Zarrella. Mary, the dental assistant, is probably my favorite. Shes so sweet and upbeat, very helpful and careful with me. I was calm and happy the entire time I was there. I found out my tooth pain was going to require a root canal, which terrified me. But Dr. Zarrella was very good at explaining everything that would be done and making me feel calmer about it. He also told me about other issues I didnt even know I had! And even though they would cost a lot to pay without insurance, I was glad to have them done. He was so helpful, sweet, knowledgeable and caring. I honestly have found my dentist for life. Dr. Rider is a genius with root canals. Im not afraid of them anymore! I had absolutely no pain during the procedure and dont have any now. Im so happy to have found this team!

Ive always been very anxious about going to the dentist due to a past experience. Anytime Id make a dentist appointment elsewhere, Id cancel it due to my overwhelming anxiety. When I told Dr. Zarrellas staff this, they immediately reassured me that they listen to every patient and they like to find out why patients are anxious before they even have a patient open their mouth for an exam. When it came time for my appointment, I was amazed and relieved that I had finally found a dentist and his staff that puts my needs and concerns first. They care about more than just your dental health; they care about your overall health, too. Dr. Zarrella and his staff made sure I was comfortable and explained everything in details I could understand. They used a variety of methods to ease my anxiety and it was THE BEST dental visit Ive ever had. No pain, no anxiety and I truly cannot wait to go back and finish my treatment. Baby steps.... but worth it!

I was so extremely terrified when I went in to see dr. Zarrella. I havent been to the dentist in a few years and I was afraid of getting lectured. Doctors are always so sweet and nice and he made me feel at ease and comfortable right away. He didnt lecture me and he actually asked me what he could do to make my experience better. What you know dentist has ever done before for me. Now I would never go to anyone else. Him and his staff are the kindest most understanding people I have ever encountered in a medical office. Also Dr Ryder did my root canal and it was the best experience I could have ever possibly imagined he was sweet and kind and calm and explained everything beforehand and he was very considerate. When he told me that we were done for the day I couldnt believe it because I had hardly even noticed that he was working on me. Definitely highly recommend zarrella Dentistry they are a real Class Act!

Dr Zarrella is the BEST!!! I will never let anyone but Dr Zarrella or his two hygienists near my mouth. I am a complete dentaphobe but Dr. Z puts me at ease. He also does the most thorough exam I have ever had and communicates thoroughly with you about what you need and why and how it can affect your health...who knew?!. He saved me from having two root canals from two fillings that were old and leaking and had cavities under them. I had no pain but was a few months away from needing root canals. THANK YOU DR. ZARRELLA!!!!

Being new to the area, I had no idea where to start when it came to finding a dentist. I took to the Internet, and after looking at numerous reviews, Zarrella Dentistry stood out from the rest. Im so glad I called them! Everyone there has been so kind and very personable throughout my two visits. Ive been very happy with the work theyve done and will continue to go there for my regular cleanings. If you need a dentist in the Ashland area, Zarrella Dentistry wont disappoint.

Fantastic team! Everyone is kind and willing to do what it takes to help you stay on track with your dental health. I had my teeth whitened for the first time professionally and am so pleased with the results. The hygienist walked me through each step and what was going on. I highly recommend this office. I had awful dental anxiety when I first started here and now I am happy to come in and get my work taken care of!!

They went the extra mile to address my anxiety and find ways for me to get through the procedure. Best Dentist EVER! Over the years I have seen many dentists, and they are all good. But Doc Zarrella really takes the time to get to know you and the problems/concerns you have about your dental health, he puts you in control. Amazing! I now feel like I have control over my dental health and I know what is going on, I will have healthy teeth for a lifetime because of him.

Dr. Zarrella and his office staff have been so welcoming and kind to me. The front office is so comfortable and quaint, and the receptionists always greet me with a smile. After years of not sleeping very well, once I started using my bite guard that was made and fitted by Dr. Zarella, I am now sleeping through the night.
