The front staff were very polite and pleasant, as was the technician who saw me first. Dr. Bolliger however was very unprofessional, I am a single mother and had to bring my 3 year old with me and though my child was not touching anything other than a tissue now and then, the doctor seemed to be unable to handle the fact that he spoke and would not stay seated in the chair. We had been there for an hour and my son was quite bored by this point and I was doing my best to keep him sitting however this was not good enough as the doctor yelled at my son to sit down and then at one point told me to grab him because this was not working. Again he was not doing anything other than looking around the room taking a tissue from the near by box and trying to ask the doctor many questions about what he was doing, which the doctor ignored. My child is a very average behaved 3 year old but this man acted as if he was a demon come to tear his office apart. I will not be returning to the establishment and will be seeking another eye care Professional in the future.

You barely get to see the optometrist. The assistant/nurse? did my prescription. I told her it was too strong and my eyes were pulling. She dilated my pupils and I couldnt see. When the actual doctor came in she said, yet it was probably too strong but Ive been doing this a while and told me she would lower my prescription based on my age and history without measuring or reevaluating my eyes since I now had blurred vision. The optometrist only checked for cataracts and eye health, but did not do the prescription. She basically told me to use over the counter reading glasses at my discretion. She wrote a prescription which I will not fill because it may not be accurate. I could do this without paying a doctor copay and premiums taken out of my paycheck. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! DON:T DIALATE PUPILS BEFORE THE DOCTOR COMES IN. THIS IS WRONG!

Ive been going to Mass Eye Associates for a few years and have always found the staff friendly and helpful in both the Tewksbury and the Chelmsford locations. Last years they accommodated me during some acute issues with my eyes, even over a holiday weekend. The ophthalmologist who saw me that time was pleasant and supportive. Yesterday, I took my 88 year old mother for an exam. The staff were respectful, professional and kind while helping her through her eye exam and explaining her age related vision changes. Im not sure who was rude in those other reviews, but I recommend this place.

Should be called rude eye associates. Front desk is beyond rude and disrespectful. For members of a progressive medical profession, their customer service is stuck in the stone age and condescending. They dont listen. I requested an appt. with an ophthalmologist and explained why. They gave me an appt. with an optometrist without telling me. They act like theyre doing you a favor at the front desk. Have not experienced this from the medical profession in 30 years.

dr. ye is always very late for appointments then he rushes you through. I didnt get my questions answered fully. After discussing the cost of replacement reading lenses in my frames (only come as a package with frames), he suggested that my prescription was simple and I could get them at Wallmart. Guess what, my prescription is not that simple. I have stigmatisms in both eyes. Guess he didnt study the script to carefully

I have needed special eye care for most of my life and the doctors, eye techs and staff at Massachusetts Eye Associates provide top quality eye care. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than I would like, but I am comforted by knowing that they take whatever time is required to meet all my eyecare needs. They have saved my vision! Five Stars!

Untrained staff, the technician took my glasses, checked the script and said they were fine. How can they be fine if my vision is blurry? Now I have to pay out of pocket to see a real doctor who will actual conduct a real exam. Here the technicians determine your prescription, not the doctor. Waste of time and money.

Doctor John Constantine is the rudest medical "professional" Ive ever dealt with in my entire life. He has absolutely no bedside manner and was flat out rude to me. Hes rough and basically pulled my head back when doing tests. I will NEVER go back to this eye doctor.

I was really disappointed contacting this clinic. I waited two months to schedule an appointment for my two kids and one day before that, they called to reschedule for two more months!

Waited two hours for my appointment. They did not tell me it was an emergency appointment. I wanted a yearly check.

Unprofessional staff, untrained eye techs. Look else where.
