i had an appointment scheduled for monday the 3rd of March 2014 to have a mole looked at. I was asked to arrive 15 mins to do new patient paperwork.Not a problem at all. I was asked for my $50 co-pay before i even mentioned my name. very disturbing. Unfortunately for me i did not have any means of payment with me.( I make a very good salary, so $50 is very very affordable) I gave my son my credit card earlier to have his car fixed. He was suppose to meet me at the doctors office to give it back. The young girl behind the desk who had a big smile on her face while telling me the doctor would not see me unless i paid $50. She seemed to enjoy telling me that. i told her my son would be dropping it off. she then says he better hurry up because your appointment is in 10 minutes. twice during my wait she shouts across the waiting room asking me if my son was here yet. I then walked up to the window and asked if the doctor would see me before my son got there. with a big smile on her face she replied "NO". at that point i walked out. I can not believe a Doctors office would refuse to see a patient for not having his co pay. oh, by the way my son was in the hallway as i was leaving.

Sir are you aware of our policy? What policy is that... you mean the policy of having an office full of administration and no patients in the waiting area? Like, where is everybody? Oh the gestapo wants money up front.. how much.. 150 plus insurance card .. OK Im all set ... thanks for wasting my time... also may the force be with you for not mentioning your "policy" of shaking me down when I scheduled this appointment... listen here folks, deal with your skin cancers, zits and liver spots on your own.. they couldnt look any worse the the bomb shelter known as North Andover Dermatology

Waited months for an appointments. Leave work early looking forward to my appointment. Get there I hand the receptionist my license, insurance card, debit card, and my flex spending card. Not enough they wanted a major credit card or $150.00 cash. Mind you I havent signed any paperwork or even seen the doctor........Where is the "Patient Care" these days.

I have been going to North Andover Dermatology 20+ years and they are the absolute best! Both the office staff and the providers are all very nice and extremely accommodating with appointments. If you are looking for a great dermatologist who is both knowledgeable and personable I highly recommend them.

Prepare to wait atleast 30min-1 hour after your appointment was scheduled before the doctor takes u. Terrible. Also, dr gibney is always in such a rush and shows no signs of caring. Ive been here several times & Im officially done of waiting an hour until they take me for poor quality information
