Not impressed. I had cataract replacement implants. I never saw the same optometrist over many visits. The optometrist hears your issues and then says "tell Dr Nielsen". When Nielsen evetually appears he is obviously in a great hurry, clearly anxious to rush on to his next patient and quite uninterested in what you have to say. I ended up with double vision in my right eye, much worse than before the procedure. Nielsen several times tried to convince me I had 20/20 vision which was laughable and told me my vision was better than before the operation which was a lie. Impossible to get my original eye test, they are obviously scared about litigation. He stated that the double vision was caused by residual astigmatism left as a result of his surgery and could not be treated. Another untruth as I subsequently found out. A simple procedure will remove it. Nielsen Eye Center seems to be a production line process to maximise profit with little concern for the patient. Avoid if you can.

I had the opportunity to have an appointment with Dr. Neilson a couple of months ago. The staff was very friendly and my intake visit went very well. I was a bit nervous, never having had an eye exam before, and the technician was very patient and kind. Then when I met with Dr. Neilson he listened to my vision concerns and didnt oversell me on expensive reading glasses. Overall, a very good experience. I will be back for my annual exam.

I have visited this facility twice in two years. Everyone was very professional during the visit but I needed to ask a question today so I called them and was treated poorly. I was told someone was going to call me back but four hours later .... nothing. I called again and was told we are too busy for you and just wait. Now I just called again and they have gone home. I am only a customer and maybe my expectations are too high.

At lasik done 3 years ago and still very happy with the results. Dr. Nielsen has a very straightforward bedside manner and the staff is both efficient and friendly. Although not cheap I would highly recommend this procedure for anyone that works outside, has an active lifestyle or would just like to have better vision. SL

The staff was amazing. 5 stars all the way. From the top to the bottom, I found everyone to be extremely experienced and kind. Dr. Nielsen is the most graceful and compassionate doctor I have ever encountered. Try them and you will understand what I mean. The best surgeon I have ever encountered. Highly recommended.

Great eye doctors that are willing to answer questions. Nice waiting area with coffee
