Over the last year Ive noticed my vision getting blurrier and my eyesight feeling more strained, especially when working on the computer and driving at night. I decided to visit the optometrist and was recommended to Dr. Farra by a friend. I didnt want to admit that I needed glasses, but when I got there the staff were very welcoming and made the process seamless and comfortable. Id heard stories about how uncomfortable it is to get your pupils dilated, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I had the option to instead have digital images taken of my retina by a new machine they have. Dr. Farra fitted me for glasses and I was amazed by how much better I could see. Garo, one of the opticians, helped me pick out frames which I have gotten tons of compliments on. The receptionist Emma took care of my billing and made sure I got the best value from my insurance. My glasses arrived a week ago and Ive worn them every day at work since - I cant believe I went so long without getting my eyes checked. I highly recommend Wink Eyecare and Dr. Farra to anyone who is looking for a new eye doctor in the area.

I am personally impelled to write a review for Dr. Farra and her team at Wink Eyecare. I have had trouble finding contacts that fit and work for me for years. With my astigmatism and seasonal allergies it has been tough finding a comfortable pair of contacts that also improve my vision back to where it used to be. Dr. Farra was able to accommodate my busy work schedule and had me come in for a contact exam. The exam was extensive and professional. She had me trial a couple pairs of contacts for 4-5 days until I found what I was looking for. It only took two trials before I found the perfect fit. She recommended me to switch from monthly contacts to dailies, which made for easy care, more consistent results, and allowed my eyes to breathe more (alleviating my itchy eyes due to allergies). She has a great staff as well, who are all extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I definitely found my new eye doctor.

Couldnt have asked for a better experience! I started coming to Wink years ago for an annual eye exam and would absolutely recommend to all. Dr. Farra was extremely helpful providing eye exams and teaching me how to insert and remove contacts. Even when I felt all hope was lost and would never get the hang of contacts, they invited me back for another training session (...or two) until I got it down. Emma was great assisting with training, while Meredith and Garo helped me pick out a new pair of reading glasses. Great crew at Wink. Thanks again guys!

Im new to Boston and needed a new optometrist so I checked out this place. Dr. Farra is very knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. As a physician myself I appreciated her attention to detail. I was very satisfied with my visit to Wink Eyecare and I will return there for my yearly exams.
