I warn ever single person looking to receive care here- please please please avoid this place. One of the WORST medical teams I have EVER been too. Went for a physically 4 years ago, they ended up coding it as a dental visit (Yes, I am not kidding.) I fought with them for 2 years to change the code that the receptionist put in when scheduling the appointment because no one in that entire building does dental work. Ended up billing me for a dental visit, after fighting with them I ended up biting the bullet and paid the bill. A year after that they started calling me harassing me for the payment again, even though I had already paid it. Dealt with extremely condescending, rude and ignorant customer service representatives. I sent copies of my bank statements, checks, account information, everything, I even contacted a lawyer. Figured everything was all set since I didnt hear anything else. Flash forward to today, when I received a COLLECTION notice from a collection agency for the "Bill" that I "owe" them. I warn every single person to avoid this group like the plague, SPECIFICALLY Tri River Family Health Center in Uxbridge. I wonder how many other people they have screwed over like this. I will never set foot in another one of these facilities ever again.

I go to both pediatrics with my daughter and adult medicine. My daughters doctor is very nice! Dr. Lukas. However, the ladies at the front desk are always rude. The nurse that took my daughters vitals was very rude! She told me she didnt believe that my daughter had a fever the night before. Also, adult medicine is the worst! For some reason they said I missed an appointment when I havent even made one. I didnt even know about this until I felt sick and had to go there. The doctor told me that she was going to "throw me out" if I did a no show again (which I hadnt- maybe they should double check before making this mistake) and that she was surprised they hadnt because thats their policy. Then she left me around 30 min in the office because "she didnt know what I had and was going to do some research". She came back and said to make a food diary which had nothing to do with why I was feeling sick. Anyway, I do not recommend this place at all and I wish I could give them o stars and now I see why they have such bad reviews!!

The entire place is run like a circus. Right from the front desk to the rest. The front desk people seem as though they are bothered by your existence, and are of little to no help whatsoever. Its more like customer disservice than anything else. I went for a physical and had paperwork that needed to be filled out by the doctor. I was told that it would be a day or two before the paperwork was completed. I returned 2 days later and they didnt know who I was! They did blood work and everything, but couldnt seem to find the paperwork I requested anywhere. It was as if Id had never been there before. Im not upset that it was not completed as much as not knowing who I am. As soon as I get what I need from this place, it will be the last time I walk through those doors. I dont trust a place that cant keep simple paperwork in order to take care of my healthcare. If you feel comfortable with it than so be it... I do not.

My family goes to Tri-River because it is located so close to our house. Im usually satisfied with our visits and stick with the medical advice we receive. Today, however, my son needed an X-ray. The X-ray technician was fabulous! She made my son comfortable with having an X-ray before we even went into the room. She had him excited and even smiling during the pictures and gave him a bunch of stickers for being so brave. After we were finished she went out of her way to help bring him to the car. I had my hands full with my baby and it was a relief not to also have to carry my toddler, who wasnt able to walk. If I could review only the X-ray department theyd receive 5 stars but since its for all of Tri-River 4 stars is more accurate!

I tried to book a general consultation appointment with a Tri River doctor today. I was pleased to find that I could get an appointment online. I would like to meet this doctor to see if we are compatible so that I may find a new doctor nearer home, in Uxbridge, since my current GP is retiring. I was taken to a drop down window with the doctors picture and a calendar on which to choose an appointment time and date. I worked my way all the way into December with no appointment available. What kind of doctor has no appointments available for 3 months and yet is "...accepting new patients..." Not an encouraging introduction, thank you.

I have been attending this Doctors office my whole life. I just met with my new doctor, Dr. Panullo and have honestly never had a worst experience in my life. Its a huge disappointment because there are so many great people at tri river/umass but Dr. Panullo is awful. I would advise that if you get him as your doctor you switch immediately. Quite frankly I dont know how hes been/stayed employed by such a great doctors office. Its disappointing to see such a great doctors office brought down so much by 1 Doctor.

Why dont the people taking appointments ask for your insurance over the phone instead of showing up with a broken ankle and being turned away because they dont accept your insurance! Idiots! I was never impressed with the ladies behind the glass at the reception area! Real snooty in my opinion. Sort of like the RMV attitude! I wont be going there NO more! Im gonna miss Dr Mathews as my primary doc, but Im the customer and I wont be treated with an attitude like that from behind the glass assholes!

One phone call to inquire about changing physicians and I encountered a rude person on the other end who acted as though I were a total idiot. I think her name was Mimi. In any event I called back and the request to speak with her in Adult Medicine) ended up going nowhere. I have to agree with the majority of these fellow reviewers - this medical practice is one of the worst. I guess I have to give one star with the understanding thats because they bothered answering the phone at all.

Agree with everyone, Ive been going here for a long time and the staff is rather rude. Mostly the front desk, Ive never once been treated like an actual customer there. Any time they call theyre short with me, and any time I come in Im treated like a child (Im 22). Its really not worth it, and after I called them today Ive decided Im never going back. Its not worth having to put up with all that unnecessary sass while Im just trying to book a doctors appointment.

My family and I have been going to Tri-River for 20+ years. We have moved out of the area, but I still go to Dr. Peterson as my pcp. She has ALWAYS been on time, made enough time for me, and listened to everything that is going on. With their new portal, I can access her with concerns, questions, etc. and she answers back promptly. As with any other business, there are always snafoos, but this place still deserves 5+ stars in my book.
