After a ski accident 12 years ago, my four front teeth were seriously damaged and I was given the option to get veneers by my previous dentist. They turned out nicely, but over time my front tooth (which I had a root canal in) started to turn really grey. I became very insecure with my smile over time and decided that I wanted to try some other method of cosmetic dentistry to try to repair my smile. My new dentist at the time put crowns over my two front teeth to try to mask the grey and left my old veneers on the lateral incisors. After a short period of time the grey quickly came through again and it was apparent more than ever to me that I had a fake looking set of teeth. I felt really discouraged and thought that I would never fully be happy with my smile again and I’d just have to deal with what I had. Then I met Dr. Courtney Lavigne…she offered to provide me with a consultation to discuss my options. I had no real intention of undergoing this process again unless I could ultimately guarantee that my smile would be fixed. Dr. Lavigne instantly instilled a truly genuine sense of confidence in me that she would be able to deliver the results that I had been looking for all along. It wasn’t just the fact that she is highly acclaimed for her cosmetic dental work but that she was completely upfront and honest with me about what was needed and what I could expect. I went into every appointment greeted kindly by Becky at the front desk and welcomed warmly by Dr. Lavigne and her assistant Kelly. They always asked me the right questions and walked me through each and every thing we were doing. At every appointment, I was completely comfortable and aware of what they were doing and what the outcome would be. I went through a series of internal bleachings on my grey tooth, received periodontal work from Dr. Sterio (who I would also HIGHLY recommend) to fix the greyness that was appearing through my gums and was made beautiful sets of temporary teeth by Dr. Lavigne to go through this whole process with. The temporary teeth were so real looking and functional that my friends thought I had already done my teeth after my first appointment with Dr. Lavigne. While the process was long, I never once questioned that my outcome would be nothing short of perfect. Every time we put in a new set of temporary teeth after a bleaching, Dr. Lavigne would ask me what I liked and didn’t like and told me to be upfront so that we could get them perfect because she "will not let you leave her office until you are 100% satisfied". I finally got my new crowns on right before vacation last week and I was enamored. These are the most beautiful, real looking teeth I could have ever imaged having. I feel so comfortable with my smile again (a feeling I havent felt in a really long time) and I can’t help but smile so big when talking with people because I no longer have the concern that they are looking at my grey tooth or my fake smile. I am SO grateful for all of the time and effort Dr.Lavigne and Kelly took to make my smile perfect. I have now decided to see Dr. Lavigne regularly for all of my dental work because my experience from day 1 has been nothing short of amazing. Seriously, if you are considering cosmetic dentistry in the slightest, I urge you to consult with Dr. Lavigne -- I promise you will not be disappointed and it will be the best decision you’ll ever make!

If youre anything like me and are scared of the dentist, ashamed by your own dental hygiene, and/or procrastinate for 7 years until you HAVE to make a dentist appointment because of the pain....do yourself a HUGE favor and call Dr. Lavignes office. I was overdue for a cleaning (it had been 7 years...dont judge) and did not have a dentist or dental insurance. I was referred to Dr. Lavigne from a family friend and scheduled a SAME DAY appointment. The office is located in the new Wayland Plaza on Boston Post Road. Parking is easy. The office itself belongs in a television show. I was greeted by the receptionist/office manager Becky, who was super friendly, and was given some paperwork to complete. Afterward, I was immediately met by Dr. Lavigne. We had a consultation in her office where I was able to tell her how scared and embarrassed I was. She listened and promised me that she doesnt judge and had "seen it all." I was then taken to get X-rays by her nurse who was phenomenal. After that, Dr. Lavigne completed the work on my mouth and explained every thing she was doing and why. I had no idea how much had changed since my last dentist visit but, at Dr. Lavignes, everything was high tech and clean. I had 3 cavities and she was able to fill two of them that day and it didnt hurt at all. She filled the third cavity the next week, as well as, a complete cleaning. Im telling you, her hands work magic. If you have the chance to see her for your teeth (or just meet her), DO IT. Dr. Lavigne is informative, caring, and I truly felt taken care of. It was such a good experience that, at the end, she and I hugged. Dr. Lavigne, if youre reading this, thank you for dispelling my fears, validating my shame and for treating me with such incredible kindness. You have a gift and I am forever grateful to have worked with you.

This review is specifically about Dr. Lavignes outstanding cosmetic work. I traveled from Seattle to see Dr. Lavigne after seeing the impressive final result of veneers she completed on a friend of mine. After a decade of contemplating cosmetic work on my two front teeth that had been partially made of composite since an accident 22 years ago, I finally made the decision for a permanent fix when I was able to see how profound an impact that good cosmetic work can have. I can not emphasize enough how happy I am, not only with my new teeth, but also with the entire experience from the moment of Beckys first warm welcome at the front desk through every collaborative conversation Dr. Lavigne and I had about what I wanted in my smile. Even though only the front two were damaged, I chose to do my top front 6 teeth to create a uniform look and still remain absolutely blown away by the results, especially if I go back and look at how my teeth were before. I dont think I could have realized how much of an impact your teeth and smile have on your overall appearance until doing this. One of the most standout things about my veneers which was VERY important to me is that they look beautiful but still natural. I wanted any casual observers reaction to my smile to be "Nice teeth!" and not "Nice cosmetic work!". Again, my expectations were wholly exceeded. Dr. Lavigne worked with me to create just the right balance between looking perfect and still looking real. She really does incredible work and I highly recommend to anyone contemplating cosmetic dentistry to go talk to her - I only wish Id found her sooner!

After being given the run around for many years by multiple dentists, Dr. Lavigne changed my life. I had a pretty significant space in my front teeth and very small eye teeth that prevented me from laughing, smiling in pictures, socializing,working certain jobs and caused me so much anxiety. It felt like I was going to have to live my life covering it up and hiding! With my wedding right around the corner I decided I was not getting married unless I had a beautiful smile to wear on my special day. I called Dr. Lavignes prior office in April thinking there was no way I was going to achieve this goal by August 17th for my wedding, SHE TOOK ME RIGHT IN! The following week I had braces put on, the braces came off the last week of June and she put the Veneers on the second week of July!!! I couldnt believe it!! I could finally be myself, I could smile and laugh with out being self conscious, take a photograph and smile in it for the first time since middle school and I could achieve my biggest goal….have beautiful wedding pictures with a smile to match. Words could never express my gratitude to her for going above and beyond for me ( she came in on her days off a few times!) , making my dreams come true, giving me self confidence and improving my quality of life. Dr. Lavignes new practice is too far for me to travel for routine visits but I will be traveling for any work concerning my gorgeous smile that she created for me.
