Why is it that the patients can freely roam the building especially the ones that have dementia which are roaming into other patients room getting into their beds taking there clothes off not once but twice someone needs to watch them very closely I know what it cost to provide care for different levels of care but you guys are not doing it Ive seen some horrible things going on in that place which I strongly feel needs attention real quick Ive witnessed nursing staff totally ignore patients and all could think if that was my loved one then Ive also seen them sit and laugh at patients Ive also seen them allow a person to leave in just a hospital gown in freezing weather the nerve of this place makes me think its just for the money well Im gonna submit a notarized letter to the state along with Medicare and Medicaid to let them know how this place is being ran if you or the staff dont like caring for folks then let them go where they will be cared for it saddens me to think how people can treat others just to let you know KARMA do exist

My mom was there for a few months on the rehab side they medicare and it was ok. The medicade side smells like urine and they treat the patients like animals. On the rehab side some aids suck and some are really nice as with the nurses. The call button is non existent because they are ignored and if your not there with you family member on a daily basis they are treated really ignored and treated differently. They are very understaffed with nurses because one nurse has like 10 to 20 patients per shift. The admission clerk thinks she is "God" and treats the staff like crap along with me. She was very rude, belittling and talked down to me like I was a child. The staff (nurses and aids) even hate her and told me how I need to complain because if they do they are ignored and get in trouble and management does nothing about it or listen. I will think twice before I put my mother back in this facility.

Im going to be watching your staff while my daughter is in your care! After a month there I am sure I will be able to give a detailed and accurate review of your place at Heartland! People need to know there is a SAFE AND FRIENDLY place for their loved ones to go to when they need additional care after an extended hospital stay! They need caring staff that will attend to their needs in a friendly manner (If any one on staff is having a bad day they should leave the scowls outside the doors before they start their work day w/their patients!) These patients need your understanding and help to get through their stay! So I pray you are the best facility out there to care for my daughter during her recovery! Im watching you! So you will get 5 stars as of today! 8-5-15 I sincerely hope you keep this rating at 5 stars over the next 4 to 6 weeks! Sincerely, Beth Stewart

My son is currently at this facility now and we are in the process of moving him. Yes the food is horrible, most of the nurses are rude and lazy, he has to call them to remind them to do their job constantly, and to even wear gloves.....when I walk past the nurses station, no one wants to speak so they act busy look the other way or do not respond. The lady that works behind the counter where you sign in is the only friendly professional person I have encountered. I called today regarding an issue and the lady put me on hold and when another lady picked up I asked if she was the nurse manager for my son and she answered "How may I help you?" How rude!

My mom was sent here, the aides are great. The nurses suck!!!!! Mean, rude, lazy and plain hateful. My mom is a smoker, no one would take her outside (after she was told someone would), she was told she had to wheel herself out to Ford road to smoke. Thats dangerous, so instead she wheeled her shelf to the farthest part of the parking lot. One nurse who was out there doing the same thing, reported my mom, they kicked her out. The food is awful, my mom has a broken hip, they left her on a bedpan for over an hour. I would never recommend this place to my worst enime. -10000000 stars

Well I live 4hours away n I noticed when I visited my aunt theres no one offering to helpor greet you n they dont have much of a friendly attitude when they do come in the room. There rooms look like a hospital instead of homey feeling not enough room for a small chair to put your feet up. My poor aunt I worked #25 yrs in homecare I am now disabled if I could I.yake my aunt home with me.
