The people who work here are possibly the most difficult human beings to try to work with. They will do anything they can to not do there job and they do not even try to hide it. My father stayed here about 3 years ago and they where not nearly this bad (still not good). This last visit was like hell, they told me to my face that they didnt want to do the paper work to get my father to my graduation because it was "to much work" when we had been asking them to do this for 3weeks, they waited till the last possible day to do this, literally the day before and the only reason he was there is because my family cried and BEGGED them to do there jobs. We where supposed to get on a plane and move states shortly after he got out, we need special equipment to do this and they told us they had it all set and it would be at the house after his discharge, (that was a month and a half ago) we still have not received this equipment making us cancel our fight and be here for a month extra. We have call and tried everything we can to find out why this equipment isnt here but they remain to be rude and unhelpful, i dont even believe they tried to get him this equipment and lied about it, just like they did about the graduation thing until one of them slipped and said they had nothing about him going to graduation because no one wanted to do the work.... 3 weeks they had to do this work that they some how got done in an hour after we made them...i never thought they could have caused so much anger and frustration in my familys life and in general all the problems they caused ( way to many to type about here) If you are thinking about putting your loved one in here I suggest you run as far in the other direction as you can unless you like headaces, people not doing there jobs and your loved ones ignored on a daily basis... please HEED MY WARNING

Terrible facility. Totally understaffed and the staff they have could care less about the patients. My elderly family member was brought to this place for rehabilitation. He was transferred out 5 days later in worse shape than when he arrived. The staff never cared for his wounds and he came out of there with bruises that were not there before as well. They claim he fell. My family member is bedridden and could not move on his own. He had a catheter and developed C-Diff infection while in their care. When he arrived at the hospital from Heartland care center - Bloomfield Hills, the nurses at the hospital let us know he had been left sitting in his own filth for so long his bottom was raw. Who could do that to another human being?!! If you value your loved ones health and well-being DO NOT choose this facility!

I looked at several places for my father to move into for rehab. After my tour or Heartland of Bloomfield Sonia with adminitions called me to see how things went. She assured me that my 88yr old father would be well cared for..if we decided to move him from the hospital into Heartland. My father was welcomed by a great team of caregivers. Sonia did a great job!! My father is getting stronger every day thanks to the qualified, kind, team of people working at Heartland.

This facility has heating issues. No heat when temperatures drop into the 40s. Room temperature was 58 degree. Family members put in complaints and was told maintenance could not come till the morning. We had her moved to a different room the next day and still same issue with temperature at 61 degree. Put call into management Doug and Kathy and went right to answering machine. Violation code?

My dad had been here for a week. tv was not working for the first 2 days. Phone is not working in his room from day one they said they would look into it at least 5 times. Stains on the carpet the furniture is in disrepair. He cant stand it at this place and I dont blame him. We are thinking about bringing him home instead of here I fill like they put him in jail not a place to get better.

My stay at HMC was not a pleasant one. Had several issues with aids, nurses and administration. Will not get into details due to pending written complaints to the attorney general. Would never recommend, nor will I ever return.. had issues with W. Bloomfield location 9 years ago with a doctor.Poorly ran. Only plus, the physical therapists were exceptional!!!

I just called the facility for them to ask a patient there if I could bring her anything when I visit. The woman mumbled, "you have to ask her yourself" and then hung up on me! I have been reading the reviews on google and theyre horrible! I wouldnt give one star if there was an option to do so. This patient does not have a cell phone either....how sad.

I have just arrived from Montana to be with my mother who is now in Hospice Care the staff has been fabulous the hospice nurse absolutely the best I am very happy with the care that I see my mother has received. The hospice nurse even contacted a priest to come and give my mother the anointing of the sick I am so grateful.

Took my mom out of this place after 24 hours. Understaffed and overwhelmed. Management was friendly but they werent the ones taking care of mom. I would not recommend this facility if you care about your loved one
