I went in for my first appointment with Dr. Forche and I can say with great certainty that I will never be coming back. Never in my life have I been talked to in such a condescending manner and made to feel like a complete idiot. First of all, I was in there for a grand total of 10 minutes, after having not been to the Dermatologist in years. It was important to me to utilize the appointment to its fullest - to ask all my questions and continue forward with next steps. However, when I asked said questions, I was made to feel like I was stupid, as if I should already know the answers. Well, Im not the professional here... you are. When he asked me a question, I responded that I didnt quite understand what he was asking and he literally laughed at me. He said "Im just asking you a simple question" to which I responded with frustration that I needed him to clarify. Finally, I gave up. Nothing I had come in for was addressed and it truly was the biggest waste of my time. I should note that I have never once been upset enough by a business or experience, to take my complaints online. But I genuinely feel that people need to know this.

Ive been Dr. Forches patient for over 20 years and had been to 2 or 3 dermatologists before him who couldnt perform to his level of expertise. He has always explained my treatments thoroughly and efficiently worked to get me treated properly and quickly. He has treated other members of my family and Ive never seen him have to go reference something. He is a walking medical journal and seems to always be updated with the latest information. He has a quiet demeanor, polite humor and is truly an intelligent individual. I feel comfortable using him as a resource for true information concerning any dermatological needs. I will say, he doesnt dawdle. Be organized when you go and bring up any concerns promptly so he can address them. The entire staff is efficient and individual friendliness varies based on the person. Some personnel are busy and rapidly working in the office area while other techs are more cheerful and talkative. This office is THE number to have at your fingertips when you want something diagnosed right the FIRST time!

I recently made an appointment with Dr. Forche for a rash on my hands. My visit was bad from the start, from having to wait over an hour to finally be taken into an examination room, to the nurse actually laughing at me when I told her I used hypoallergenic, natural, castille soap to wash my hands with, saying "oh, those natural soaps are meaningless. the FDA doesnt regulate them." A huge generalization if Ive ever heard one. I had visited Dr. Forche several times as a teenager for acne, but he greeted me as though he had never met me before. I felt that both he and the nurse who was assisting him (not the same nurse as the first one) were very brusque, and dismisive of almost everything I had to say about my condition and the history of the problem. I dont care if my doctor is the nicest person in the world, but its totally unacceptable to feel like theyre not willing to listen to me. To top it off, it really felt like he couldnt wait to just hand me a prescription and leave the room. He didnt even say goodbye as he was leaving.

I have been a patient of Dr. Forche for almost 20 years, random issues over the years and each and every time I was treated successfully, quickly, and with obvious knowledge on the part of Dr. Forche. I really like his office, the nurses and staff are friendly and very helpful, Dr. Forche is a good doctor he knows his stuff and is willing to listen to your questions and answer them, something rare in many doctors. I have referred my family to Dr. Forche my children and now grandchildren, as a family we are advocates. Some of the reviews I read make me think someone has done that for a reason not becoming to review a good doctor but maybe something personal - not cool. While I dont long to go to the Dermatologist (who would?) when I do it is to my doctor for 20 years where I am confident I am treated well and with knowledge and care. Oh and lastly he also is very rote on insurance which is helpful too ----

I have been with Dr. Forche for 8 years. Every time it has been the biggest hassle to get a prescription renewed. I had to break a leg to get there from college just to get it renewed the receptionist where always beyond rude and never understanding. I wasted so much money going in to only tell me the cream was working. Its such a joke, and all they want to do is take your money. They dont even hear you out when you try to explain your situation. I just decided to make the switch and I finally found a place that understands how difficult it is to work full time and have to try to find time to get in for an appointment. Do yourself a favor, and go to another place. There are so many out there that wont talk down to you.

Exceptional service should be noted and that is the quality of service I receive with every visit to Dr. Steven Forches office. I have been a patient there for over eight years and have always found the entire staff to be friendly, punctual on appointment times and very professional. Since I have a fair complexion and like to play golf, I see Dr. Forche at least three times a year. In addition to eliminating numerous Actinic Keratosis Dr. Forche has detected and successfully treated three Basil Cell Carcinomas for me. He has also helped me clear up rashes incurred over the years.

Dr. Forsche was incredibly rude and condescending to me during my appointment. My diagnosis was not clearly given to me and when I asked for clarification he told me that I "didnt need to understand it, theyre medical issues," and refused to explain it any further. He did not properly explain how to treat or prevent the issue I went there to be treated for either. I would never, ever recommend this doctor to anyone. I was made to feel silly and worthless when I was simply asking for clarification on a serious health issue. Take your business elsewhere.

I have been periodically going to Dr. Forche for over 15 years for various skin issues that I have been concerned about, and have always found him to be extremely patient and through when giving me a diagnosis. I always ask many questions so that I am sure that I understand completely what he is explaining about my medical issue. He has either put me at ease right away if there is little to be concerned about, or has prescribed a medical course of action that has cleared up the problem. I have been quite satisfied with Dr. Forche!

Im not sure if the reviews below were done by a competitor but honestly, Dr. Forche nails it EVERY SINGLE TIME. He is smart, knowledgeable, and patient. Most dermatologists I went to in the past would take several guesses before they got it right. However, Dr. Forche seems to get it right the first time every time. His staff was incredibly nice and helpful and they always find a way to fit me in. Give him an opportunity and I am pretty sure you will be happy you did.
