I have been a patient of Dr. Essak in excess of 15 years. I feel he is an excellent doctor, very thorough, takes the time to explain reasons and very personable but his office staff has been less than pleasant. Just recently I had a surgical procedure done in his office (which was not explained to me it would go toward my deductible) in which I owe for, because of my deductible. They expected that I pay $300-$400 per month as they wanted it paid off in 4 months. I explained to Dawn that I am a single parent and only have one income and that I could not afford that amount and have made payments that I could afford. I called to schedule an appointment for medication refills and was denied service because of my balance. I have had to seek a new primary care physician and am very sorrowed by this experience. I know I am not the only patient that has been less than pleased by Dawns behavior and would hope that Dr. fix this before he looses more long time patients.

This dr was furious and refused to treat me because my kids were what he claimed too noisey. I always have my recorder on and have proof. When I defended my kids because he he was yelling at me and them he told me to leave. This guy is a joke and only supports drug addicts. He pushes anyone one else out the door who realy needs help like me. He gave the impression that he hates kids and cant stand them. I suggest finding a Christian dr who loves all people and is willing to help u. And on top of that who ever was on the phone with me argued with me and refused to schedule an appointment with me I shouldve not pressed it and went somewhere else. That wouldve avoided this evil dr from hurting my childrens feeling and insulting me.

Dr Essak has been my doctor for over 20 years and I love him! I would hate to go somewhere else but his medical biller Dawn is just about the nastiest person Ive ever met. She cant print off a past dated receipt for me that wasnt even a month prior....and was extremely nasty about it. She is rude, interrupts. And its not just me she treats everyone like that. If I do go back I will personally talk to the doctor and ask to only come in on days she is not there. I cant be the only person that has felt this way and I hope the Dr will notice

Office staff is rude, disrespectful and beware when you pay cash. Make sure you keep all receipts. Called today absinthe thing that answered the phone was insincere and arrogant. I wanted to know how much time out of the day was it going to take from them to pull records from archives. Instead of saying I am unsure she became quite haughty. If you dont know say so.

Dr Essak has been our caregiver for over 12 years. You will not find a more caring or thorough physician. I am concerned about a couple of negative reviews. One involving children in the office. If child care scheduling results in a conflict you should reschedule. No doctor can give you the care and attention you deserve in the presence of unruly children.
