I thought I had a very good visit with Dr. Ewald but got a letter today stating I should find another Dr. as I was not satisfied with the impersonal service. When I call all you get is an answering machine. Then they do not respond back. After I called again 3 hours later they told me Dr Ewald was out for the day. So I guess I just should have waited to see if I was going to die. They did not seem to care. I guess Beaumont Drs are all the same in it for the $$$. I would not recommend Stonebrook to anyone who cares about there medical care. My Vet takes better care of my dog then they do their patience. If I could have given them a zero star I would have. Just got a call back as to why I was terminated as a patient. Because I did not like there unprofessional below standard time to contact a patient back, and I said a cuss word. I apologize for hurting there VIRGIN EARS ;( They are the most unprofessional group of misfits I have ever had the displeasure of having give me the worst care ever!!!! I had a stroke last August and I swear they are trying to cause me another one over all of the stress this is causing me. Again they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENT JUST THE $$$$ I would recommend Dr Amy Seger if you want a Beaumont Dr as she has actual staff who answer her phones and she calls you back ASAP and goes over any questions you may have. Sounds much more professional then Stonebrook. I am choosing to go to a Henry Ford Dr just cant trust Beaumont anymore. March 18, 2015 went to my new Doctor. Dr Stephen Soklowski and he spent and hour and a half going over my medical needs. I have not gotten and hour and a half of Dr. Matthew Ewalds time in all of the years combined as his patient. I feel I will be getting better care with Dr. Stephen Sokolowski. He is a Henry Ford Dr. and I would highly recommend him to any one who cares about their medical care.

My wife and I, as well as our 2 year old all go to Stonebrooke. Weve seen all of the doctors at least once, and have never received anything other than great service. Theyre very understanding and have always accommodated us when we needed a same day appointment when our son was sick. To the negative reviews Ive read, Im not really sure where theyre coming from. Calls are typically met with a recording, but weve never had an issue with getting a call back. From having our sons medication refiled or just asking a general question, weve received a call back every single time weve asked for one. The wait time has always been appropriate, too. Theyre a busy facility, and I expect to wait a little longer when I show up right after work or some other high traffic time. Ive never had an excessive wait time. In addition to all of the above, we were very surprised and happy to find out they always have an on call doctor. Weve only had to do it once, but they have a service where you can again call and leave a message and receive a call back any time of day, any day of the week. When our son was very young and had his first high fever, we were quite worried. We requested a call and within 10 minutes were on the phone with one of the actual doctors who gave us the information we needed and eased our nerves. Also, Id like to say that the staff there besides the doctors have never been anything but awesome. The people at the front desk, the nurses who call us back to the rooms, etc. Everyone has always been friendly and polite. Im not saying you cant find a place that would have good doctors or a friendly staff, but you wont find a place better than this.

This is my first review that I have ever posted, I say this because it speaks to the depth of my experience at Stonebrooke Family Physicians. As a first time patient, I provided my paperwork to the receptionist and was directed to the waiting area. After a short wait I was greeted by a gruff and somewhat agitated young lady. She made no attempt at any eye contact with me, there was no smile, the first thing she said to me was "take your shoes off, I want to weigh you and record your height". I was taken aback by her unprofessional demeanor and her angry presence. In addition, a group of 3 or 4 other female staff were gathered around the "weigh in" area talking negatively, with eye rolling and facial smirks included, about a female patient who had just been directed into her exam room. Not one of these women seemed uncomfortable over the fact that I was over hearing all of this. There are plenty of family physicians to choose from; one short visit here was enough for me, I WONT be going back. The doctors and management should, at minimum, offer the staff an opportunity to take a course on service, care, professionalism and courtesy.

My mother is a patient here and had a physical not too long ago. At said physical she had an irregular ekg so they sent her for a test when the results came back the receptionist said it was normal even though her test tech said there was noticeably something strange. When my mother asked the receptionist about the varying answers she stated that the dr said it was fine and ended the conversation. I called to ask for myself and left the office manager a nice message to call me back to clarify since i am allowed to get that information. That was over a week ago and no call back clearly they do not care about their patients or their concerns. Now they are giving her the run around about the leison found on her lung. I would not suggest anybody who actually cares about their health go here. She will be switching when the insurance allows.

My experience here has not been the greatest, fist of all the doctors dont seem to care whats wrong with the patient at all. The lady that takes your blood rolled her eyes at me, and every time I see her shes never friendly and she smells like cigarettes. I also never received an important phone call letting me know my blood work came back bad. That is life changing for someone and the doctors cant call to let you know?? Crazy to think these people all have jobs helping people!!!

Unfortunately due to health insurance protocols, these doctors are forced to burn through as many patients as possible to meet their quotas. As opposed to giving adequate care, they sum up the situation quickly, give a "best guess" diagnosis, and knock on the next examination room door to help the next "customer." It isnt necessarily the Doctors fault, but this place reminded me of a retail sales floor the way the Doctors sped through people. What a shame.

I wouldnt recomend this doctors office to anyone. They treat you as a check and not a person. My doctor canceled on me twice within a month. Also the Dr. Office called me to make an apt when I already had an appointment set up. They were supposed to send over my information to another doctors office when I physically went there to sign the release form.
