This is my second year wearing glasses. Last year I received my first pair from your location in Redford, Michigan off of Telegraph. It was a great experience. However this year when I returned to get a back up pair the service was HORRIBLE. My eye exam went fine and the doctor was terrific. My issue was with the woman that helped me afterwards. Her name is Priscilla. She was rude and very aggressive. I felt like she didnt respect my requests as far as what I wanted and didnt want. She forced me to get the no glare lens feature. Told me since the doctor recommended it that she had to put that I wanted them even after saying I didnt. She was rude when I wanted to switch my frames to something less expensive and even tried to force the cleaning kit onto my bill. A couple days later I went back to get a refund after spending $230. She needs to be coached because no one should be that mean and condescending. It has made me decide to go with a different company altogether. While in there waiting to get my refund I heard her doing the same thing to an older lady and telling her she had to get the no glare. Priscilla needs to be retrained

Can I give them ZERO stars?? Went in on 9/23/16 with my prescription in hand to get glasses and the experience was shaky from the start. While checking out samples on the wall I asked if any of the frames came in different widths and arm lengths... Their answer.. No, whats on the wall is all there is. ?!? What?? OK I let that go... while waiting to be fitted for the frames I picked another customer came in looking for his glasses after a two week wait and was told "The lab must have had to redo them for some reason"... That should have been the red flag for me to take my business elsewhere... but insurance dictated I go here... I was told my glasses (two pair) would be ready in a week... Well as of today 10/7/16 they have one pair ready and Ive heard the practiced line about the lab on four occasions.. another one about the lab not shipping them ... it all seems like well rehearsed BS to me. So tomorrow morning Im going to ask for the deposit on the second pair I was buying out of pocket back and tell them to send morse code to this "lab" to keep the other ones that they cant seem to finish or ship. Id rather pay out of pocket.

They schedule my appointment after they are done taking appointments for the day, so the doctor was gone. On top of that no apology was given they just literally came together like the old lady gang and made comments like " I didnt do it " and " not me, I didnt make the appointment". One old lady looked it up and there it was appointment made by the old lady that went home early today. But the old ladies just walked away and helped other customers and left me standing there. I waited 15min and proceeded to the door one old asked if I wanted to make another appointment as I walked out. I responded "absolutely not you have a good night". Worst service ever I will never go back. The old lady gang need to retire. They dont know what they doing, no problem solving skills and they rude.

Came in to get safety glasses (prescription). After a lengthy wait, staff was able to assist me. Ordered glasses. Was quoted 5-10 business days for pickup. That was early April. Its now June. SVS couldnt call me because the staff typed in my phone number wrong on the computer. When I called they shared a very long story about how their provider was very slow or moving and had the wrong prescription. Generally, I got the "its not our fault" message from SVS, yet they did nothing to expedite the issue with their supplier or find a new supplier. I finally got a call late last week that my glasses were in, but Im not going to be in the area so the staff did offer to ship them to my home.

I love the eye doctor, she was very helpful and considerate. Ordered my frames with the lenses to have a rose tint and the tint I paid for was not on the lenses when I asked for a refund they were very rude to my daughter and I was rude right back, usually I try to understand but my money is not to be just given away. Staff was not helpful at all, the whole whole staff should be replaced with people who are more professional.

The staff at this location is amazing. All smiles and professionalism. I was very hesitant to go here based on all of the negative reviews. I even scheduled a back up appointment with another company in West Bloomfield. So very glad I kept this appointment. The exam was thorough and very informative. Paulette talked me through every aspect of my purchase. A+ experience. Highly recommended.

I started going to the one on Warren Avenue until I ran to the rudest woman I ever met. I was disappointed when I went to the Redford location and saw her. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I thought she had a bad day but she was just as rude and unhelpful. I drive five miles out of my way to the location in taylor.

The service was good at first then you can to ask about you glasses thats when the rudeness sets in and they make you not wanna come back dry personally in there no happyness what so ever when I finally get my glasses Im done with SvS

Customer service was down right horrible. I sat for 2 hours and watched while 4 ladies, who happened to be the only employees working, cackled amongst themselves. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION

My experience was wonderful. However, I paid to have scratch resistant lenses and after a year my lenses look like I use sandpaper to clean them! I will never use them again!!!
