A week ago today, I went to Stone Dermatology for the first time. I noticed while in the waiting room, that the phones were ringing off the hook but the two woman who were working the desk were completely ignoring them. Right off the bat, I had a bad feeling. Once in the exam room, a woman came in to see what I needed checked. As I proceeded to try to show her, she kept back away like she didnt want to be near me. After a bit she had to realize she was making me very uncomfortable, so she stated that she "didnt want to touch me because her hands were cold". UM??? Then she told me that I was having a full body check and that I needed to undress and put on a gown which she handed me and then walked out of the room. The "gown" turned out to be nothing but a crepe paper vest that only came down to the bottom of my breast line. I am supposed to take off all of my clothes and were a little vest that barely covers my breasts? Um, no. So I ended up leaving my jeans on for a "full body" check. The PA came in and she was very nice and seemed to be knowledgeable. She told me that she was calling a prescription in for me and asked which pharmacy and I gave one to her. I left the office at that point knowing that I would not be returning there but at least I knew what my issue was and would be receiving medication. When I returned home, my pharmacy called and said that the prescription that was called in was $140 and to call the office to see if there was something else comparable but inexpensive that could be called in. I called the office back and was surprised that they answered the phone. I spoke with a girl who didnt seem to know what she was doing but stated she would find out what needed to be done and call me back. THIS WAS A WEEK AGO! I just called them back and was told that my prescription was sent to a completely different pharmacy because they have cheaper prices. What???? When I questioned this and also why I didnt receive a call letting me know, the woman was very short with me and told me that I just "needed to move on" and "did I want the prescription or not". At this point, I obviously asked to speak to her office manager to which she replied that they didnt have one. I then asked to speak to whoever was in charge, she said there was no one in charge. I then told her she had to have a boss and she still insisted she didnt. I kept pressing, and she finally said they have an administrator named Ron who was not there. I told her to have Ron call me to which she replied he wont be in until sometime next week but she doesnt know when??? I am just totally in shock that this just happened. I have never received service like this. The choice is yours, go there if you must, but I would never recommend this office to anyone for anything.

I went to see Anya, the PA, for my very mild acne. During my visit I had the worst experience of my life. The staff was VERY UNFRIENDLY. They forced me to get a chemical peel done. I had to do everything for the peel. Wash, apply, and wash. Usually other assistants do the process NOT the patient. The peel ruined my face and the PA kept telling me that it was my fault. These people have no knowledge about anything. I think a lot of people dont come back again. I definitely wont.

I saw a PA while I was there and she was absolutely wonderful! The whole staff was very helpful and extremely caring the entire time I was in their office. They were genuinely concerned about my well-being, patiently answered all of my questions, and were very sweet to me. Yes, you may get put on hold when you call but it is only momentarily and definitely worth the wait. Thanks for the great experience!

Had a wart on my forehead that I wanted removed and was referred here be a friend. I called to set an appointment and they were able to see me next day. Arrived at 7:30 am, and was back in my car at 7:50 am minus one wart! Everyone I interacted with was super friendly. Will definitely come back if I ever have other skin related issues.

Fantastic experiance. after dealing with whe worst plantars warts on my son, Dr Stone finally got rid of them. I had gone to 2 pediatricians and this was our 3rd dermatologist..........He was extremely gentle with my son and explained that he understood why he was so nervous, with such bad experiances in the past with the other Drs.

Good staff and I like going there but their phone system needs help. I just called at 1pm on a thursday and it said they are closed even though they are open M-F from 8-4. Most days Id give them 4 stars but today is 2 stars so I settled with 3.

I went here for treatment and I was given a half filled out prescription slip that was invalid. Then they made it my problem to fix their mistake. DONT GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT PROFESSIONALISM AND COURTESY. Your time will be wasted

Have Basel skin cancer and have been going here for several years for treatment. One cancer was cut out and several frozen. Professional, cheerful staff. I believe they may also do cosmetic work.
