My experience with this clinic and specifically Dr Nicholas Benner was awful from start to end. I was 15 minutes late getting placed in a room, even though I had an early morning appointment time. I explained what was going on to the nurse and the Dr, after which, the Dr told-not discussed with-me the plan. He said we HAD to do a biopsy even though every physician I spoke with since the visit said that it was unnecessary and was done just to run the bill up. He did not tell me what the biopsy entailed or that it would require a stitch. He just started in on my skin before I felt that I even had the opportunity to give informed consent. I thought he was simply going to aspirate one of the blisters, so imagine my surprise when I looked down and he was injecting something into my skin rather than pulling something out. He made no efforts to explain the process at all. I received no after visit paperwork on how to care for the biopsy site but was just sent on my way. My primary concern with this visit was whether or not it was safe to continue nursing my son, as that would place him in direct contact with my rash. When I asked the Dr about this he said, “Well I’m no lactation consultant but I wouldn’t put my kid up to a rash.” Which I felt was rude and dismissive, of course I knew he was not a lactation consultant, but I also knew that was not requirement in telling me whether or not my rash was infectious/ contagious. After he told me that I should not nurse my son from that side, I became concerned and asked if it was safe for me to do patient care as is required for my job (My rash was also on my extremities) to which he replied that it was safe. So now I am confused, is my rash spreadable or not? He never gave any clear answer. I left with no answers, recommendations or care instructions, only a fresh biopsy site and a prescription for some steroid cream.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nurses and doctors. Would recommend them to anyone. I visited the Riverside Hospital group and found them very accomodating to schedule, understanding (when I got lost in the parking lot), and compassionate about my medical issues. Would be a nice addition to have hours added to the website - I have tried calling several times for a follow up but keep getting the answering service because I dont know their office hours. Other than this minor inconvenience, this is a wonderful group of professionals.

Never wait for an appt and have done an amazing job clearing up my adult acne in just 2 months! Ive struggled all my life with it and for the first time, I dont feel embarrassed about my skin. I just love Stephanie! Shes so sweet and really takes her time with me to answer all my questions.

Went in for a preventative issue and the doctor could not have cared less. I had less than 3 minutes of face time with the Doctor. If you plan on seeing them, make sure you have a second opinion scheduled elsewhere, because you will need it.

The people up front were incredibly rude. They gossiped about me when I was only 10 feet away. I had to wait a long time after my schedules appointment.

Very slow. Waiting for 20-30 min after scheduled appointment time. Dont bother showing up until 15 min after youre supposed to be there.

Love my doc - but the front desk staff is a mess. They struggle with basic understanding of scheduling and common courtesy.
