Today is a very sad day. Ive been going here since my kids were born all three, seven years to be exact. I have a wonderful relationship with their pediatratrian Id say like family. Always very friendly clean environment wonderful people. Today I took my kids for their well appointments and because my 2 year old isnt vaccinated they dismissed my whole family. My older two children are vaccinated fully. They had reactions as babies and then becoming well informed I decided not to vaccinate my third. And with out a second thought they called me and asked me to find someone else they terminated the relationship. This breaks my heart. I will have to trust god on this because I dont understand how they could do this to my children. They didnt take into consideration at all their health risk to being vaccinated. As long as you vaccinate your children other than the receptionist attitudes you wont have a problem with the physicians. Just dont disagree. *****Response: MARIO B Im so sorry that happened. I know your pain. I loved the doctors. And the staff. I admit I didnt always like the receptionist but the good seemed to out weigh the bad. They felt like family. They are all my kids knew as far as doctors. I always took my kids in for anything and checkups . They were comfortable going to the doctor. Like I said my older two are fully vaccinated. My youngest I was not comfortable with yet. Especially not while he was so young. They could at the very least wait for him to be a little older. I have many concerns as a parent and instead of addressing my concerns I was told to do it to keep the vaccinated kids with weak immune systems safe. Well maybe the vaccinations they r relying on to keep them healthy arent working if they still have a chance of getting kids sick. In which case why do I have to give my kid something in deeply concerned about if they still have a chance of getting sick. I cant control whether or not the public vaccinates or dont so even if I get mine they can still get sick from the public? Well then whats the point I asked. I wasnt given a response. Looking back and doing some research Im sure it had something to do with a bonus they get every year. But 99% or such of their patients have to be vaccinated by 2 I believe dont quote me im not a expert Im just learning. I felt like someone throat punched me when they called and said not only my younger son couldnt come there but my fully vaccinated kids couldnt either since I probably would vaccinate at 11. My kids are 6 n 7 who thought that far ahead? This was my family these were the people I love and trusted most with my kids. And poof just like that. With no regard to my concerns no explanation no nothing. Just goodbye dont come back here . Written off rather quickly and not thought twice about. Im so sorry you experienced that it is a horrible feeling. Good luck finding your children a doctor and I pray it is one who is more concerned for your concerns as the parent and your childrens health! Good luck to you!

This office is as good as any Ive been to. The doctors are nice, and I havent had any trouble getting an appointment (though I havent had to try getting a same day, so I cant speak to that). One thing is clear from the other reviews, though. I am glad that they dont allow non-vaccinated children to be seen here. I dont want my kids sitting in the same waiting room as a kid who might have measles, pertussis, or worse because some "enlightened" parent thought it was okay to not vaccinate. People forget that lots of kids used to die of these kinds of diseases before vaccines were invented, and that the only reason we dont hear about these things much anymore is precisely because the majority of the population is vaccinated. Dont be selfish. Vaccinate your damn kids.

We regularly see Jodee Thornley and she is an excellent care giver. Gentle, relaxed, patient and tender with young kids and babies. She is very nurturing to kids and works well with the parents. She regularly says, "Mom and Dad, you know them best. If youre concerned, were concerned." This has proven to be tremendously helpful advice. Being parents of two children, four years apart, both with separate medical issues and needs, visits are frequent. The bottom line, when having to bring sick kiddos in, time after time, you want someone who is going to listen and help you advocate for their care.

Crystal Welzin, I completely understand. The same thing happened to me. I am posting this review under my sons name and Im still in shock over being terminated from the office unless I started an immunization schedule. It was so disappointing because Ive been taking all 3 of my kids there since they were born. My 11 year old is immunized and and ended up with a mild case of autism (Im not saying that the vaccines caused this)...so I decided not to immunize my 3 and 5 year old. Thats when they told me that I have to find alternate care. Just makes you wonder what this world is coming to...

This place is horrible. There well being is not for the kids. If you dont make a appointment for ur child they wont call u months and months can go by they will not miss ur child or call to check up on them. If you are 9 mins late for ur appointment and ur child is very sick they will not see your child.eho dose that no matter what a child health is suppose to be the most important thing to these doctors . Do not bring ur children to this place

I recently moved out here and needed a new pediatrician. This place is all about kids and my boys really liked the lobby. Two kids tables and cartoons on tv, they were very entertained while I filled out paperwork. Really cute office. The Doctor was very nice and they seem very detail oriented which I liked. My kids had a great experience because the Doctor and nurses were easy going and not uptight. Deffinately will be coming back here.

We were away from home when our 10 month old got sick. We called our insurance company to find a pediatric in the area and they sent us to Woodhaven Pediatrics. Woodhaven told us they didnt want to deal with our insurance company. Good to know their laziness is more important then helping a sick baby.

Drs. and nurses are good. One of the ladies up front is a total waste of oxygen.
