Brought my husband in on a Thursday with sever back and leg pain. Explained that this had been off and on for around 5 months. Doctor ordered an MRI and said he would contact us with the results. We waited all day the next day to hear back, but finally called ourselves. When someone from the office returned our call the only information we were given was that he had a pinched nerve (we know) and to continue with the meds the doc gave. I took that lack of information (stupidly) to mean that there was NO information to give. We decided that if it was a problem with a disc, they wouldve told us, right?! Nope! 5 days later I call back to find out what to do now that the pills are gone, and the pain is not. Low and behold we find out he has 3 bulging discs, and the dr noted that my husband should get a shot if meds dont work. Well good thing I called since apparently that info wasnt important enough to pass along. We have yet to speak to an actual dr or be told to come in so we can set up a care plan to take care of this. My husband has been out of work for a week, and no mention of restrictions if he feels better and can go back, or what to do if the problem persists. When I asked why hasnt someone gone over these things, I was told its my job to request information. What?! Am I the crazy one here?... shouldnt the dr have called and told us to set up an appointment to give us all this info and answer our questions?! Ive been getting all my info from nurses and medical assistants since I guess our dr is on vaca. The RNs are great. The docs however dont seem to want to even look at my husbands chart. They just pass it off to the next dr or PA. Dont even wanna go back.

I went in for an extremely bad sore throat and cough. The sore throat had been there for 4 weeks. They wrote my vitals on a scrap piece of paper, the nurse could not remember any of the medicine I told him. When the doctor finally came in he spent less than 3 minutes and for 1 of them he was washing his hands. He listened to my lungs via my right shoulder and promptly said I "probably" caught two virus. Really a child would have done a better job! Called to complain and no response. What a joke never going back!!
