I was a patient when the old dentist was there. He always did a good job, never had issues and the billing was done right. I came in for the first time after the new dentist took over. He informed me I needed some cavities filled. We did the cleaning and scheduled to fill cavities. While removing old cavities and filling new ones I had to inform him that a specific tooth wasnt allowing me to have an even bite. So he went back to it and ground more material off my tooth. Then he went on to another tooth again. Later he again came back to that some tooth to grind some more. After about two days I realized I was feeling a lot of pain in the specified tooth while I was eating so I called and scheduled an appointment to have it fixed. While having it fixed he decided to inform me on my eating habits making it sound like I made the mistakes. Yet there he was Grinding again on the same tooth for the fourth time. Now my tooth is extremely sensitive to hot or cold after 3-4 weeks of waiting for it to "settle down" as they say. The fix is a root canal Im told. But I didnt need a root canal before and he is still taking payment for the work done that wasnt done right. Im not thrilled at all with the new dentist in there. He doesnt take responsibility for his actions, blames the patient for his mistake and still takes full payment even though he doesnt do quality work. Im now disappointed that the old dentist is gone and Im looking for someone with Integrity to fix the new dentists mistakes.

Ive had to go in 4 times to get a filling fixed and it still hurts. First the dentist told me it was normal and that a lot of people have to get a filling ground down. The second time I went in to get it fixed he told me about the possibility of getting root canal. The third time I went in he told me that he didnt think I would need root canal at all and gave me a mouth guard and told me to let it settle down. Now that I call and say it still hurts weeks later, and ask for his opinion and he tells me I need to get a root canal exam. So when I asked him how long this has to continue before I can just chew my food again, he was very short with me and told me that he had explained all this to me before. They didnt charge me for grinding down the filling once, but I feel it was only because I made a stink about paying for their mistake. One of my worst experiences ever. Seriously disappointed in the dentists customer service- no way to treat people who are paying for a service theyre already uncomfortable with and now have to deal with some sort of complication and a bad attitude from their "doctor." Mindi in the office is awesome- she was so sweet and supportive through the entire process and was the only person to apologize for the bad service.

I had previously gone to a dentist ONCE in Centerville, MN who had told me that I had a minimum of 5 cavities which SHOCKED me considering I had never had issues with cavities before and definitely no symptoms of having any...so, feeling shocked as I was I decided to get a second opinion which was with Oakdale family dentistry (which is close to my house) only to find out I didnt have ANY cavities! The dentist from Oakdale had every opportunity in the world to scam me giving my scenario, he was very honest which made him trustworthy. Not only does Oakdale Family Dentistry get my business, they now get my entire families business. I recommend them to everyone.

This place is amazing! I had never been here before, but yesterday my veneer fell off. I called and not even knowing me they squeezed me in at end of their day. Then the very next day I wasnt careful and it fell off again, but due to miscommunication I came in on the wrong day, and the dentist had already left. He actually turned his car around, wearing his street clothes, and fixed my tooth. This is how you get a patient for life!

Have used the dental hygiene and dentistry services for about 9 years including crowns. The impressive thing besides promptness, up-to-date ways to remind you of upcoming appointments (even text messages if you want), and great quality of work are the detailed, "plain English" explanations that walk one through what is happening or going to happen. While having "work done" is not my favorite thing, I have felt in capable hands.

I hadnt been to the dentist in 6 years because of past unpleasant experiences but I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Keane at Oakdale Family Dentistry. He and his staff were not judgmental, they were kind, patient, and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting unlike so many dentist offices. I highly recommend them!

On 2 separate occasions I was told that my procedure would cost $900. When I went to pay it turned out to be $1400. No one ever said anything about it costing more. I never saw an itemized bill or anything else from this Dentist. I wont go back.
