My mother and father were both fortunate to have received compassionate care from Comfort Keepers aides who were attentive, patient, and understanding of their changing needs. Originally, I contacted Comfort Keepers to help provide support to my father who had Alzheimers Disease and for respite care for my mother who was his primary caregiver. There were several Comfort Keepers aides who my father trusted and who our family depended on for his care. This was invaluable as the disease progressed, and took a toll in his most basic abilities and skills. Eventually, Comfort Keepers was called in to provide support to my mother whose own health was declining. Due to her blindness and mobility issues, she relied on the aides to prepare her meals; do household chores and housekeeping; transport her to church and to do errands; and - most of all - provide the needed companionship and reassurance that she needed. As her skills and memory further declined, a core group of aides were able to and willing to go above and beyond their duties to ensure my mother could stay in her home. Thats what sets a person who is simply doing the bare minimum of her job from someone who is passionate about providing compassionate care to those who need it. Comfort Keepers made sure that my mother had aides who were in the latter category. My sister, brother, and I are very grateful for Comfort Keepers for its skilled caregivers who provided exceptional care to our mother at a time in her life when she needed it the most.

After months of taking care of my ailing father, our family of semi-serious control freaks decided that we needed help! We just didnt trust other people to provide the care "that we could!" Were we wrong! We enlisted Comfort Keepers to fill in for us from time to time, and it was the BEST decision ever! We were able to take some breaks, and our father truly enjoyed seeing some new faces and visiting with the caregivers. They took such great care of his physical needs (bathing, dressing, eating, cleaning), but most importantly they engaged him in activities that greatly improved his quality of life: planting flowers in the flower boxes, talking about horses (his passion), and playing some intense card games! What a blessing it was for ALL of us to know that Dad was being cared for and cared ABOUT in the comfort of his own home. Best thing EVER! Thank you, Osseo Comfort Keepers!

Comfort Keepers Care team, Brenda, RN, BA- and Madison T Care Coordinator have been absolutely amazing in raising the standard of management of their caregivers and clients care. Owner is VERY involved in reaching out to the community to connect with seniors, engaging them in activities that are proactive to maintain their health and brain fitness. Our dad loved his care givers, for very good reason! They obviously liked him and treated him with the respect he deserved. Comfort Keeper personnel were capable and professional. They kept dads apartment clean, but never neglected him on a personal level. When he faced health issues, they were observant and called us right away. I had very good service from Comfort Keepers after I had a knee replacement. They were there for me with whatever I needed. Their service allowed me to relax knowing if I needed a trip to store, beds changed, laundry done - no worry just ask. They also drove me to rehab appointments which helped me recover quickly without my husband having to take time off work to drive me. Its a great business with great caregivers.
