Prairie River provided excellent services for my client. However, they stopped services with no notice stating that my client needed a higher level of care, i.e. residential care. My client went for a week without nursing assistance while we worked to find a new provider. This means no one set up her medication, a complicated process she is unable to do on her own. It is not up to Prairie Care to decide that an independent individual needs residential care, it is up to the individual. It is unethical to stop services without notice.

The staff here did an outstanding job taking care of my mom. She LOVED the bath aides, and PT Tim, and she is kind of a hard sell. I give the manager a lot of credit for hiring good people and keeping them satisfied, so that they were able to consistently give great care to my mom. They showed in many ways that they deeply cared for my mom and me. Athough there were some difficult times, they handled them with grace.

They dont pay their staff well enough to keep them on board. I feel sorry for the aids. They consistently stand up this familys appointment every Saturday for a MONTH. Completely unacceptable! Total fail. They just shrug when you say "hey, can my client please get a bath?" Do yourself a favor, pay $10 more an hour and go with quality. Visiting Angeles home care is much better. Prairie river should be taking notes.

I really am so blessed to have your care group taking care of me. my nurse Janet is awesome and she has really helped me alot with my leg!! Before her i couldnt even walk as good as i should be able to, she has helped me heal, heal my leg and heal my trust issues. She is so awesome and im so thankful to her and to your company for all your help!!!!!!!
