About four years ago I was admitted into Fairview Wyoming to have a routine pere anal abscess drained. In my medical records was a list of drug allergies which contained penicillin. I was confined to the hospital, as I recall, three days. Approximately thirty hours after being discharged I began urinating blood. I immediately went to see Dr. Bao-Lan N. Raikar, MD whom preformed the procedure. Upon completing several labs, Dr.Raikar determined I had a bladder infection and gave me an Rx for an antibiotic. When I tried to fill the Rx my pharmacist refused to fill it as it is penicillin. I went back to see Dr. Raikar. When I told her what my pharmacist said she stated {and I quote) "I gave you penicillin while you were hospitalized. Youre not allergic to penicillin. Without saying a word I stood up and walked out the door leaving the Rx one her desk. Later that evening I came VERY close to dieing. The penicillin caused hemolytic Anemia. My family was called in and a minister was brought into my room. I was given seven transfusions and spent 5 days in St.Johns. Miraculously I recovered.with only a few issues. Yesterday I was seen by urgent care. After taking pictures I was escorted to my room. An RN came in and stated "So ya broke your wrist"!!! Wait a minute I thought she is a nurse. Then Dr. David Warren comes in and says "Your wrist is not broken but you have cellulitis". WHAT, I was just told I have a broken wrist, now the brake has healed and cellulitis developed? Did these people go to school or did they get their diplomas from Sears mail order? They sure are not professionals!!! .

Please do not waste your time at this urgent care! This past Sunday we took my daughter to get what we thought was a bullseye rash checked out. The PA, Robert Niles. I had told him my mom had sent a picture of the rash to my aunt who is a nurse practitioner and she thought it looked like a bullseye and to get it checked. Well he insisted it was not a bullseye rash and that she had no chance of getting lymes disease unless the tick wad attached for 2-3 days. He was a jerk acting like he knew was more than my NP aunt, who mind you has been practicing for 30 years. He sent us on our way with a 7 day course of amoxicillon incase it turned into a skin infection. He got annoyed with me too that I said Id get it at CVS and not their pharmacy. Overall his bedside manner was not good. That night I did not feel good about what he had said so I spoke with several people with lymes disease and showed them the picture of the rash. They referred me to a Lyme literate MD in St. Paul. I took my daughter the next morning and sure enough IT WAS A BULLSEYE AND SHE GOT A CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS OF ACUTE LYME!!!!!!!! Do not see this idiot PA he doesnt know a damn thing. Thank god I got a 2nd opinion. I will be reporting this to the hospital and the medical board!

I had surgery there to remove a tumor from my arm, I have had several surgeries so I know what to expect ) The only negative thing I can say is that they had trouble starting my IV..no surprise, when I had surgery at Abbott they needed to use a ultra sound and go into a "deep vein" in my arm. Wyoming claimed to not have catheters to do this and the IV ended up in my foot after 12 attemps. The nurse was a bit cocky and dismissed me at first saying she could get an IV...the first time. She was apologizing afterwards saying my veins looked great and she thought she could get them.... Surgery went well. Recovery staff was awesome. Not the hospital I would choose for brain surgery, but small routine things no problem.

Have never had a bad experience here. Just brought my daughter in this morning on Christmas eve day to ER. No wait! They took her right in to treat her for sickness, left with antibiotics and a nice gift from staff that made her day. Staff very nice always to us. Sorry to hear some of you had bad experience. Please dont let one bad apple ruin your care here, or turn you away. No one place will be perfect but overall I recommend this place to anyone(and Im a nurse so you better listen). A Dr here also caught a illness my son had in 2nd grade that could have cost him his life if not treated right away. Very thankful for my care received here and will continue to turn to them in time of need.

I had an appointment with Deborah Strand, which was a very poor experience. Instead of asking questions and listening, she took an x-ray, told me I was "carrying too much weight for my frame," (DUH! I didnt know that!! - sarcasm), and referred me to physical therapy. I didnt go, because after that visit I had no respect for her and her doctoring. I would have liked for her to ask my symptoms and for her to have listened to how they had been affecting me for 2 years prior. Instead, she thought she knew the diagnosis right away and sent me on my way. I felt totally robbed of my time and my moeny and the insurance providers money. I would not return to this provider.

i had surgery here, theyre not compassionate, they cant listen to their patients, their heartless they suck.!!!!!! NEVER GO THERE. they dont know how to treat their patients, especially when it comes to surgery! If youre talking to a nurse, theyre rude and cut you off and they dont care about your symptoms or how you feel. Theyre mean! Ive never been to a hospital thats so mean in my life!!! If you need to go to a hospital, go to st croix regional medical center in St. croix. They know how to treat their patients.

I have delivered 2 babies here via c-section. One was an emergency and one was scheduled. I spent 3 days in the maternity ward after each one. I never had a problem with any of the staff. They were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make my stay exceptional. I was allowed to nurse my baby in the recovery room, and they even offered great support on getting started breastfeeding with both children. They are very supportive of whatever birthplan you choose.

Watch your bills with this place. They are very misleading when you go in for Urgent Care. They fool you into thinking your going into Urgent Care and then bill out to the insurance companies as an ER visit! Then on top of that they hit you with an additional Office Visit charge too! The billing dept. and patient services are useless in helping to resolve any billing issues. I would NEVER recommend this place!

Ent doctor Stink. Dr Sraffier did no tests and I was only another number to him. His demeanor toward me was nast very unprofessional. Calls himself a ent specialist. Ass ---/. Out right refused to treat me when Im in a urgent need for help. This whole Fairview clinic, hospital is a joke. in general do not go to Fairview or you definitely will end up being disappointed.
