Dr. Bellard had been seeing my daughter for the past year. I drove a little over an hour, one way to have her seen by him. First time ever late to an appointment was today. I hit traffic on the hwy, while driving to his office i called and let the "appointment setters" kno i hit traffic n may b a few min late. The operator politely said no problem u have a 15 min grace period, but she would send a message to the receptionist know we may be late. My daughters appointment was at 9:45. We arrived at exactly 9:58. I signed in and wrote 10am. (Didnt feel the need to b exact on sign in sheet) even person listed before us wrote 10 We have a seat, the receptionist calls me up, i apologize to the fullest explaining not only is it an hour commute one way, there was unexpected accident on the hwy. The receptionist got an attitude n said well "u just may not been seen today, ur past the 15min grace period. I replied, i did sign in at 10am n was actually a min or two earlier. Had she called us to counter earlier we wouldnt b checking in 20 min late. The receptionist proceeded to say she necer received a message saying i called n was stuck in traffic on my way. Then proceeded to tell me i needed to reschedule. That Dr. Bellard said he didnt have time. He was booked. Not only did we wait a month to get in to see him, took my daughter out of school. Drove an hour, sat n traffic, waisting gas, time and effort. To be told to turn around and go home. I couldnt believe it. Needless to say, i asked for my medical record release form right then and there and let her know we will not be back. That was the most unprofessional and rude Dr. Apt. Ive ever experienced. Yes, they lost a patient today.

Dr. Bellard provided outstanding patient care to me and my broken hand! He is attentive and thorough in consultation prior to and after surgery. He will be my go-to orthopedic surgeon when and if needed again.
